The Badigadi POV chapters are some of my favorites in the entire series, they're so fun

Yes!!! I look forward to this last Ex Chapter with Geesu's last recruit. Quite a beefy chapter with a WHOLE bunch of lore/history dump. Rifujin just Keeps providing us with world building, even at Volume 23... Next week.... Volume 24 and one of my top 5 characters ever in all of Mushoku. We're almost there, girls & guys!! 3 more MASSIVE Volumes but it still feels like 2weeks ago I was foaming at the mouth watching "I Am Atomic" Volume 15 Eris vs Orsted. Hopefully, Andrew will keep these Awesome MM's going with the great side-stories upon completion.

I think Andrew has stated a few times already that he will go through all the mushoku tensei material. So we don't have to worry about him drawing the curtains after volume 26. We will be getting redundancy and noblesse oblige in due time.

I think you misunderstand Badigadi’s philosophy. Badi is looking for someone who’s got guts. He relates to Geese’s foolish bravery and determination to win at any cost. For an immortal, people who want to protect their own lives are boring. Meanwhile, someone who is willing to sacrifice everything just to make their mark on history? That’s an interesting fellow worth following.
@doodlegame8704Күн бұрын
23:10 yeah, but if he played like that Badigadi could just sit there for 50 years and wait for the guy to keel over, then he’d be the winner. Also, vomiting shows a test of willpower and determination, that’s what Badi is really looking for.

I... don't actually recall why I thought this, but I was under the impression that there's nothing _physically_ stopping the Man-God from having more than three disciples at once. It's just that if he's "moving" too many people at the same time, then the future becomes too distorted for him to read with any degree of accuracy, so it's not a practical course of action for him to take in most circumstances. In _this_ situation, though, he can't read Orsted's future (except for the one part that directly involves himself), he can't read Rudeus's future, and now apparently he also can't read Badigadi's future, so I'm not actually sure if this throws off his ability or not...

Andrew, Andrew...Andrew the technique that split Laplace is obviously the same technique to separate the Fighting God Armor from who ever is wearing it.

If the mysterious man in the extra chapter was Kazuma, he would have stolen all of their Demon Underwear. Also when he climbed over the mountains, as in every mountain. What kind of person does that, Maria Vontrap???

So thankful to see this live, when it was streamed on YT and participate in the live chat. But it was so late in the early hours of the morning in my timezone, I could only make it through the first 45 minutes. But still thankful to try to watch it live so I know what to do next time when trying to view your vids. It was fun just enjoying this and getting to experience the later volumes of Mushoku Tensei is. After watching so much of your previous Mushoku Mondays, getting caught up with the story to where the light novel is, as well as knowing not to say any possible spoilers, or my own rumors of what might happen. This was the perfect chapter to just have fun with a character that may or may not have roles in the last few volumes but is nice to see his laughter again. Oh and Geese and Badigadi interactions were hilarious in their drinking games.

Demonic dragon king Laplace must have been unbelievably OP. After all his split halfs are 1st and 4th among the 7 great powers. Now the strength of the Technique God is unverified, but that doesn't change the fact that Demon God Laplace ranks below only Orsted and the Fighting God.

The finale of Mushoku Tensei draws to a close. The last couple volumes are jam packed with action and great moments. 23rd was really one of the best volumes in my opinion aswell. Eagerly waiting next weeks episode. Cheers.

In a way, none of the demon kings' decisions make sense. Atofe didn't make any sense but it was fine because in the end she agreed to support Rudius. Kishirika never makes any sense but that's ok because she's funny, and sometimes helpful. Now we get Badi not making much sense but is against Rudius. Rudius was actually warned several times that this is the problem with Demon kings, they are erratic and unpredictable.

(just want to prelude, i have not read or seen any spoilers regarding the story this is just a theory based around the information i've gathered as Otaku Spirit has read it to us) around 1:00:00 I was kind of thinking maybe Laplace created a technique to split himself because the dragon gods are the key to access the ManGod's Plane. Like, orsted needs to kill them all for their jewels or something right? Maybe Laplace knew he'd have to die so he wanted something to cleave himself so he could have his cake and eat it too (die for the cause but also lead the fight against the ManGod).

I feel like Badigadi is the exact opposite of his fellow immortal demonkin. The others seem to have figured out for themselves not to worry to much and just enjoy life, except when a situation requires it. Badi was always serious and had to be told to stop being like that, so he hasn't learned when to make exceptions.

Too much confusing information on this flashback... but anyway it was cool hearing the story from the Demon King of stupidity himself. BTW I think the author is writing these characters with flawed psycology, I did something incredibly bad in the past and I'm doing it again cause I am already a bad person or I have to punish myself. Sounds like something fitting the theme of flawed realistic characters
@deathitself698515 сағат бұрын
Im probably still confused about this chapter but is Aldebaran actually a human or is he just laplace and since laplace would have been mangods enemy before being split he set Badigadi up so that he would handle laplace for the mangod?

I feel like Hitogami had Badigadi in the balls and whatever monologue Badigadi does is just rationalization that he decided it himself and he isnt tricked.

i honestly think that is not that you dont get Badi, you dont want to and i get it, i wouldnt want Badi to be against Rudeus but Orsted said that Hitogami has a "trust" curse, every living creature in the world trust him so he only needs to fake an apology and push his own logic into the person he wants to control and thats it and i think that you dont want to understand it because its way to simple for you to make peace with it, its like you want it to be more complicated or to make more sense for you personally but thats how Hitogami and Badi works, is completly in character for both of them and makes sense. Easy S tier volume because everything you said and to add to that, it also closed the remaining 2 wives regrets or fears you could say, inner problems could be a good way to put it (Roxys was closed in vol 22 interlude) so it gives you a feeling of closure because it also ends Nanahoshis mission, amazing in every way like always. To talk about the survey you did about the next LN, i wont spoil anything but you have MT for like 2 more years at your reading speed once you finish the main novel.

This volume was very poorly translated Aldebaran isn't a real person, it was just Laplace concealing his identity and wearing the Fighting God armor
@doodlegame870420 сағат бұрын
That’s what I thought at first, but it sounds like he was more like an apprentice of sorts. Since Aldebran was stated to have died.
@fatrown3Күн бұрын
Around 1:25:30 He had to fight DG Laplace and barely "won" But orsted is the strongest dragon god. Mostly fights without even needing to use magic, plus he knows all existing techniques. I think that's what MG is saying. Like HS state championship vs superbowl
@doodlegame8704Күн бұрын
It will all make sense when he reads ODT. He is confused because it’s not clarified who Orsted is exactly in the main series. It’s also important to note that Laplace didn’t know who was in the armor, and therefore did not know a means to counter Badi’s immortality without blowing him to kingdom come. Badigadi also could not be seen by demon eyes which prevented him from being identified. The great powers are not in order based on who will win, but based on who has won and who is likely to win. It’s not super cut and dry, and ultimately it was a tie. Laplace had more going on behind the scenes that may have led him to his decision.
