Olivia once seduced Josh by wrapping herself up in saranwrap. She is a warrior of LOVE. I think this scene is interesting b/c Olivia and Josh have this sexual history, and they are play-acting out old scripts...but both know that they really want someone else who seems unavailable...Reva for Josh, Nat for Olivia. It is a "play w/in a play". They pretend flirt and talk about "meaningless sex" but they both know it is a game. In the end both conclude "they want the real thing"....

yes, i would have liked that too! although i guess one of the reasons olivia doesn't ever end up having sex with josh during this is because her feelings for natalia are so strong, strong enough for her to turn josh down

They're supposed to be sitting there for a while. Josh says "You're drinking these things way too fast" which suggests she's had a few, and she probably started getting olives after he made the "rolling them around in your mouth" comment

i never noticed that natalia didn't consider being with frank until olivia started talking about moving out... she keeps trying to get olivia to tell her she doesn't want natalia to get married. natalia: 'this is my favourite picture of you... you're so beautiful... i took it'

'Otalia is the endgame,' that's what CC & JL keep saying. But there are going to be A LOT of obstacles between now and then. That's ok - it just makes for good, soapy melodrama. Plus think of it this way - the number of obstacles our 'heroes' have to go thru to get together is directly proportionate to the depth of their love. If they survive everything and finally get together, it will show they've earned it, and it'll be that much more satisfying! For them, and for us. ;)

You know Frank reminds me of a Fellow from a UK Series called Bad Girls named Sean Parr. He was engaged to be married to Helen Stewart The Wing Governor (aka Warden) of a Women's Prison who fell in love with an Inmate Nikki Wade. On the day he went to get his suit for them to get married in, she tells him she can't marry him because she doesn't love him. So he retaliates by taking the suit that they were to be married in and takes some wood in the form of a Cross and burns it for all to see.

When i see Dumbass Frank and nat together i want to go throw up. When i see Olivia and nat, i want to um...you know;) I'm so amazed of the ability that CC has of showing her pain, sadness, and her longing for natalia. Those beautiful eyes show all these emotions. It's not lust, it's love. Omg i'm just dying like olivia. I feel her pain it makes my heart ache for the both of us. I think the biggest pain would be seeing Nat happy with frank. as much as the writers failed during the later years on gl..they moved us with alcohol abuse, interethic relations and sexual abuse with beth and her stepdad. guiding light was really ground breaking and when it switched to monday build up, wed. omgosh then friday: dramtic cliff hanger/conclusion model...it really rocked in the 80 & 90's.

a lot of the animosity I feel towards him is 'cause he's trying to take Natalia from Olivia......so he may be a good guy but he's the wrong guy for Natalia....let him pester someone else....you have to admit sometimes especially concerning Natalia he does things for his own gain......Olivia does things not for herself but for Natalia.......She would do anything to make Natalia happy even if it meant letting her be with Frank........Frank just isn't as big a person to do the same....

But if we decide not to be completely cynical for a sec and say that besides trying to grab rateings, the writers were trying to represent the fact that ppl's attitude to rape, for instance, varies quite a lot in society. Even people who have been the victims of violence have remained with/gone back to their abusers. And yes, no bitterness here mostly, just Otalia joy! ;)

You can't 'promote' a person's sexuality - thats like saying you can 'promote' the fact that someone is black. Representing people of different sexual idenities on TV is just as important as not having an all white cast coz reality is different. Sure its a soap but it should be a mirror of reality in many respects.
