natalia gives olivia that super faaake smile and then her face just drops like "yeah, pretty huh, now put that pretty disgusting thing far far away from me." totally agree. usually these two can read other like books, but right now they're acting like the book's in a foreign language. sadly it has everything they need to know written right there.

I completely agree. I always saw this as her acceptance of her feelings, whatever they were, for Olivia. This just happens after nearly kissing her, she's not that naive as to not knowing what that might mean, then her prayer is about Olivia and not wanting to lose her because she knows facing this could strain their friendship, but removing her ring is symbolic of her willingness to 'face it'. It's especially clear to me because of her disapointed look when liv tells her to marry frank.

before that even, remember she talks to her little statue about it right after having the FoD (sex) with the Furtz. She said: 'im having all these feelings and I need you to help me not have them'. I think even when Frank invites her to the 'mountian trip', right before that, she said 'i wish I could just go away and not have to...face things.' this was right after her fight with liv about the gossipy women at Towers..

Actually I think that Nat took the ring off because she was ready (slowly) to start examining her feelings for Olivia. That is why she was praying that they would always be friends. I don't think in anyway that Nat has put any kind of label on it, or thought about her relationship with Olivia half as much as Liv has. But I do think the almost kiss made Nat realize that she has let Gus go because she for the first time (because she never wanted to kiss Frank) wanted to kiss someone else.

This comment is 15yrs old but I have reply bc I really like this phillip too however I did go back and watch their history tgt so I get why liv is terrified of creepy phillip... they actually really loved each other but phillip got in his head too much abt what liv is capable of (bc she was really wild back in the day lol) instead of just trusting her and that spiraled way outta control until it ruined what they had But I'm really glad phillip got the help he needed bc he became such a great dad to emma

I was trying to be funny...I realize that the character Bianca and the actress Eden are NOT THE SAME PERSON :-). You are correct the AMC actresses did an admirable job in spite of abyssmal writing ...TB continues to deliver with Reese as implausible as things have been recently. They are Pros! I was just having a little fun at AMC's expense, since GL is wiping the floor with AMC in the Lesbian department. "Breese" could defect, move to SP, build a farmhouse next door. Otalia needs friends!

To all here is my voice of decent. I'm upset at Liv because for someone who claims to LOVE Nat she is encouraging her to marry Frank although Nat expressed earlier the fact that she did not love Frank. Liv keeps saying her Frank's a good man. There are many good men out there but you marry for love not because you can fit into their family or they are good people. Liv is scared of her feelings for Nat. Fine.
