You know this is ironic since I bought the otomatine deluxe and my music teacher asked us to bring an instrument you love to play if you have one I came in Everybody knew my hobby and liked it So it was normal for them My teacher laughed and did not think it was for real My friend jumped out showing in wikipedia it was classed as an instrument I played it and he did not believe anything Next day he left because he needed ti know if there were more instruments of this kind or other instruments he did not know

All I know is that the deluxe version has a larger volume button and a headphone jack. I thing English and Japanese are the same. The digital one has a keyboard instead of the slider.
