I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to just sit and chat with Vaino on the log by the parking lot on bottom of the 18th/Top of the World at SCMC this weekend. Really cool dude, he shared with me a TON of stats about Disc Golf in Finland. He said to expect a pretty big boom in the next few years as he expects about 50% of kids in schools have heard of the sport and many actively play. Pretty cool stuff!

Yes. Also, one of the latest gallup polls about disc golf in Finland estimated that approximately 15-20% of adult population plays disc golf (at least few times a year).

Really says more about the person saying it. He just lost a bunch of money and a chance to win 25k on the easiest hole on the course. Think he's a bit salty there. It says a lot how the other guys turned it and made positive comments that the older guys can still pull off some amazing holes, despite maybe not having the stamina to put together the perfect rounds. In skins all you need is a couple good holes.
