If 2 or more players score the same on the hole then the skins money is pushed and stacked on to the next hole until a single player wins a hole outright. Once a single player wins a hole they win the current amount of skins on the line and the count restarts.

My buddy and i had a running joke while surveying power lines. Everytime i saw some land that reminded me of a course id say "this looks pretty disc golfy". One time deep in the woods in tenessee i spotted a mowed fairway on someones private property. I said my usual line, having no idea that in 10 minutes we would stumble out onto this guys personal 9 hole course he made for him and his buddies in the middle of the woods. We ended up meeting him and coming back after work for a beer and to play the course. He was awesome.

After being medically retired from the military back in July 2020, I’ve found that disc golf just brings me joy. I’ve met so many incredible people on courses. I met Ricky and Devan Owens during a clinic in Tonsberg Norway, i do believe it was 2018. Beeing a guy who isnt afraid to ask questions i had a fair few of them, Ricky and Owens was supercool and answered most of them, really taking their time talking to everyone (but mostly me;-D) Beeing of similar build to Ricky and a huge fan, i have tried to copy his put as much as i could. This didnt go unoticed by Owens who stated: "Well, its pretty clear where you got your putting form from". I took that as a huge compliment on one of the best days i had discolfing! I learned alot from that clinic, keep beeing an inspiration Ricky! (If he reads this we met in the parking lot as they where about to leave for the airport, and told me i had a sweet ride)

I met Ricky at DDO a couple years ago and he stayed forever after final round and signed my after taking a pic. He, Uli, and some other folks ended up at the same restaurant as me and my girlfriend later and he recognized us and came over to chat. He had Ari run to the van and grab us some bracelets. I was less than a year into disc golf and it made the night so special and really showed what a great guy Rick is. He made two fans for life that day by just being himself. Looking forward to your third world championship, Rick! PS: stick with disc golf, you’re a crappy goalkeeper

Was tossing with a few buddies for my birthday round the year before last. One of the guys plays like twice a year so not the best but still had a great time. He gets to play more disc golf than us is all it is. We'll on one of the holes he actually parked the approach shot, wasn't 3 feet from the basket so an actual tap in. We went to give him the tap and he said "no this is the first putt for par that I know I can make. Let me make the putt" but while reaching his hand up the disc smacked the edge of the cage and rolled 90 feet down a hill. On his next approach the disc hit the pole amd rolled another 20ft past where it landed thr first time. We were dying 😂😂

My friends and I were playing a 2 round disc golf tournament. One of my friends is not very good so at the very end of the second (last) round, my friend finds himself +99. He gets up to the basket and has about a 7 foot putt for par to stay at +99. He ends up landing the disc on top of the basket and finished at +100 for the two rounds.

The Frisbee itself creates this lift force as it flies through the air. Because of the Frisbee's curved shape, the airflow above it must travel at a higher velocity than that underneath, thereby creating low pressure above and high pressure below the disk. This pressure difference provides the lift.

Funnest disc golf story for me would be overturning a diamond across the road, I go to retrieve it thinking the area is dry yup I was wrong sewige water I ended playing the rest of the round barefooted and got the nick name the barefooted wonder 4 months later the disc comes back 😅

In tag league last week I threw an errant forehand that was heading straight at two club members one facing me and one facing away I yelled fore immediately the one facing me was watching the shot and the one facing away never turned so the guy watching simply told him "It's going to hit you." and in that moment without looking he jumped into the air and the disc hit and skipped directly underneath him. Everyone was safe and we had a good laugh.

One time we were deployed out in the med, and down in the engineering department, it was about time to pump down the poopoo tanks. This was about 5 months into the deployment, so minds weren’t all there most of the time. Near the tanks is a deep sink and a valve handle to drain the sink, which is cross connected into the pipes with the poo tanks, so we all know, you never turn on the sink during pump down, or touch that handle or bad things happen. Well, let’s say bad things happen, Sailor Joe forgot this, and went to wash his hands, and the back pressure turned the sink into a poop slinging machine! It went everywhere and pretty much on everyone down there, which took us about 6 hours to clean up, and needless to say, it went down as the crappiest day of the deployment!

I threw one of my old Ricky destroyers in a lake at my local course, as i was reaching in to grab it i noticed a big alligator snapping turtle like 5 feet from it. After about ten minutes of me hyping myself up to grab it, because i was scared. I just reached in real quick and grabed it... Unfortunately i fell in the lake next to said turtle and screamed so loud someone called the cops because they thought i was in danger. 😂 saved my disc though!
