Nice sound guys! It is important to mention pitch and successfull Church Slavonic pronouncing.Can hear that bass is Russian or has Russian roots 😉 Being a choral conductor I lead Nikolsky Ensemble. @@lonewaer Faint growl? Absolutely not! It's booming. If you're not hearing it well then your sound system is not balanced for bass frequencies or your ears aren't sensitive.

Thank you, glad you liked it! Here's the TTBB version we used (though we did it in Ab rather than G): www.cpdl.org/wiki/images/e/ef/Oche_nash-Kedrov.pdf - we generally doubled the 1st tenor, except at the ends of the verses and the final bars, where we added low fifths for a little extra oomph.

Ah brilliant thanks, I clearly didn’t look hard enough! Will give it a go! 😀 You guys really sounded fantastic, lovely solid sound, powerful and dense polyphony. I guess 5 parts all in the lower ranges in close harmony can give it that lovely feel. Will have a listen to some of your other stuff, thanks Martyn
