These guys are from Calle soft sand and SLABLESS sur they think when it’s low tide and it’s somewhat shallow there gonna go surf a slab where is there a place in So Cal that is considered a slab I’ve been in the water for a few decades born and raised in Calle never seen anything remotely that resembles a slab there not like the cycos from down under there is no shipsterns and no other vicious breaks like you maniacs surf where to surf a death defying spot it takes a hour on a wave runner to get to a massive monster that has 3 or 4 steps to get down to the bottom just to get tons of water dumped on your body and lets not forget about those big scary ass fish with the white bellies that are down there in abundance and God forbid if you get pounded off the rocks or mistaken for a seal and your in desperate need of medical attention you might has well just sit back and enjoy the extremely long ride back to where you can safely exit the water and you had better hope like hell you can walk on your own because if your bro can’t throw you over his shoulder and power you thru all the poisonous plants snakes and whatever else they got down there that is poisonous then your screwed because me personally I would not want to be drug threw all that vicious stuff they have down there it seems like everything is dangerous to a human being down there, Calle no comparing to anywhere down under in fact maybe Mavericks or Ghost trees on a huge day might come kinda close I’m not bagging on the coastline of California not even a little had many unreal days surfing up and down the coast of Calle but nothing I’ve surfed or seen break comes close I forgot about Cortez Bank but you have gotta be on the top one way or another to get out there.
