Anyone that thinks Tony Elumelu owns less than 40 - 50% of Transcorp (through fragmented proxies) doesn't get it. Transcorp is central to TOE's empire. I would imagine that it is quite important that he keeps his true shareholding in Transcorp under wraps to minimize backlash from the CBN on Transcorp's related party deals with UBA.

This analysis is very dry regarding her status as "Portfolio Mgt Analyst." Throughout her presentation, there was no chart analysis of the company being discussed, no fundamental analysis, no industry group comparism and overall market overview. When an investor makes such a move as otedola did, you have to really break down the market from top to bottom because of its effects on the market. A lot of players will read meaning to it, and it can give a positive upward trajectory to the overall market. So I think she can do better, and Nigeria has a lot of talented business analysts.
