Great video. As maligned as it is for it's debatable lack of proper content, Elite is stunningly beautiful at times.

I love to just let the queue of your videos play in the background as I do other stuff on my computer. The selections you pick from each game's soundtrack are so relaxing and enjoyable, yet they have variety as they span so many different game genres. Really makes you appreciate the importance of music to a game's overall environment and mood. Keep up the awesome work!

+Tactical Scout My PC isn't up to it at the moment, but I'll be putting some of my Patreon money towards an upgrade soon. May wait for Nvidia's next range of GPUs to be unveiled.

Another homerun! The combination of the visuals and the music really make this a great video. Keep it up, UB!

They're both in game music and visuals, if you have the game you can experience it yourself.

+omgcow - Yeah I hope to get this game very soon! It looks pretty awesome. :)

+moalisiddiqui Although the sounds and visuals are superb most of the time; Beware before you buy, it is essentially still an alpha in many respects and the common mantra of "mile wide, inch deep" is not an exaggeration. It is repetitive, it's grind- and timesink-based, there's almost no persistence, cohesion between gameplay-mechanics, nor any long-term motivation, etc. Everything you see is very superficial, which is something most people realize after spending a dozen plus hours with it. Get the base game at a sale (Horizons season pass is thus far not worth it).

+Jon 93 - Sorry for the late reply. But, thanks for the honesty in the state of the game. I have actually decided to purchase it on a Steam Sale if it is offered on sale. :)

moalisiddiqui No problem! :) I think you would have the best starter experience if you waited until the Horizons season ends which is supposed to add more personality/depth to the galaxy. You'll probably be able to get both in a cheap bundle later :) Try out No Man's Sky in the meantime which should release within a month :)

How do you record that? I mean usually in this game there are a lot of HUDs and other things in the way. Great video by the way!
@Walsh25718 жыл бұрын
+Patrick Schwind Command console. There is usually a command window you can open in game where you can type simple commands that do exactly "remove hud" and "free camera".
@otherplaces8 жыл бұрын
+Walsh2571 Actually, from the experience of making this series, very few games have built-in free cameras. I usually have to use Cheat Engine tables or mods. In the case of Elite Dangerous, though, the game actually has a pretty nifty screenshot mode. Default binding is ctrl+alt+space. You can move the camera around with a good amount of freedom and the HUD is hidden.
