Otis Traction Elevators at Westin Seattle, South Tower, Seattle, WA

(Taken June 24th, 2016)These elevators are being modded too, and since they were modded once, they are being modded again!!! The employee on the elevator told me these were being modded to Otis CompassPlus!!!! These were orignally Lexan as well. This was the only untouched elevator bank at the time. None of the elevators were modded, but 1 on all of the other banks was turned off to be modded.
Installed: 1969
Modernized: Mid to Late 1990's (Otis Series 2/3 Elevonic 411M), 2016 (Soon to be modded with CompassPlus)

I wonder if these got the touch-screen panels as well. Something that I noticed is that they kept the Call-Station panel and replaced the key-readers from Mag Strip to RFID. It wouldn't make sense to do that with Compass since there are other ways key-carding them

American Elevators I was told these were getting Compass, but they were wrong. I think these are now in the process according to tripadvisor

Gosh, these things sound absolutely horrible. I hope these get mods, hopefully destination dispatch. The service here seems terrible.
