if the cause is p.aerogenossa why the main antibiotics is not pipracillin which is the main drug for p. aeroigenosa

Last week the ent took wax out of my left ear and then saw some hair on my ear drum and plucked it out with a tool. It hurt. Now it's all inflamed and another ent looked in and said I have otitis externa and he prescribed neomycin/polymyxin B/Hydrocortisone drops. But I have very tiny canals and if I put these drops in my ear canal, it will clog up, making me very uncomfortable and possibly dizzy. I may just wait and see if it gets better on its own. He said it could, but it could also get worse. I'm 71, no puss, no fever. No diabetes

did It get better ? how long did It take ? I've got the exact same drops I've got this for a week now still no improvement aswell other ear is infected
