imean technically the name of the actual bacterium is Yersinia pestis, bubonic is just one of three main forms along with pneumonic and septicemic. the black death was a bubonic version outbreak yes, but the thing that causes it is Yersinia pestis. the plague is also accepted as an answer as literally a single googlesearch will spell out "Plague is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis"

It is a disease that effects the lymph nodes. If I am a teacher that asks a student what the Black Death was and they said "plague" then I would know they have no understanding of what happened.
