Great info man! I will be ordering a kickstand and some tool orgnaization soon, your stuff looks sweet! Although after watching your video I'm a little sad because I just ordered a D1 and even though I do have quite a few other cars in my household I mainly ordered it for my LR3 and Discovery 2s! can you tell me why it doesn't work well or what it's missing for Discovery 2 stuff? I have a very difficult to diag misfire on my 04 that I was hoping to be able to get in a little deeper with this tool to figure it out.

Thanks for the great video, and especially the callouts for CAN FD, DOIP, and the funky LR3 stuff! I picked up a lite on Amazon to use with my LR3. Will your stand work on the lite?

Your issue with LR3 is due to incorrect ignition setting. You need to hold the start button on the car for 4-5 sek, then release. In this mode you can scan all systems.

You’re thinking of a LR4. LR3 have regular keys.

How does this compare to the MS906 pro ts you own/owned? Since the TS has the TPMS functionality. Also do you notice the speed difference since the D1 has 2G of ram vs the 906 4G of ram?

If I must say the Autel in608 and the im506 are both originally Otto software rebranded as Autel thru licensing so I am gonna try the otofix oto is the original manufacturer it seems after the no compete clause in contract expires plus under inflation who isn’t looking for a budget edge. That why I hate when I read oto powered. By Autel that a lie Autel rebranded oto stuff from markets such as Australia. Oto is the original Autel is the brand knock off thru contract do your home work techs inflation is real

​@Collindraker I have the otofix D1 Pro S. It's basically the same scanner but the D1 Pro S is the 2024 model. D1 Pro S pros: 10.4 inch screen 2000×1200 higher resolution (D1 Pro is 1920x1200) Runs android 11.0(D1 Pro is 10) Front facing camera( D1 Pro doesn't have a front facing camera) Is lighter and thinner Cons: Smaller battery 7250mah(D1 Pro has a 15000mah battery) It doesn't have the HDMI ports Overall it's an awesome powerful scan tool and I'm sure no matter what choice you go with you'll definitely be happy with either one.

I have the D1 Pro and like it quite a bit. Very capable for the price. One thing I don’t like is that it uses a barrel plug for charging rather than USB C.
