My heart broke at Silver's cry. He's only a teen and already his father is leaving him. I remember having to be separated from my parents because they wanted me and my siblings to have better education in America. I was crying and missing my mom for days. I was only 13 at that time and I was very attached to my mom too. I felt that fear and loneliness of a support figure you had your whole life leaving you. Now 30, I grew to lock away my emotions to save myself from depression. From time to time, I would dream of my whole family being together again, but to only wake up feeling miserable and lonely because I had to remember, I'm living alone in this house that once housed my whole family.

And of course we see that Lillia's choice has a hard impact on the people he cares like Silver his foster son who was crying out his sadness in that rare moment with Malleus. Unfortunately it was in that moment when the prince of Briar valley's darkness in his heart grew stronger as he came up a sinister idea to keep Lillia from leaving.

My dad and I had a very super tight bond with each other, he was my best friend and understood me and loved me for who I was. I still have a tight bond with him forever

I lost my father 3 years ago he would always tell me son he happy stay around positive people he would always call me to see how i was doing he would always talk to me when I'm having hard time or in a shitty mood. Me and him would always talk and spend quality time together and have fun so me and my father had a damn bond too and i will always remember the good times i spent with him. I can still here his voice when its really really quiet.

700 years is no surprise, like I said, Faes have longevity but it doesn't mean he's immortal. What's surprising is Malleus' age, if 1000 is considered adult then they can live beyond that and are much stronger. Malleus' granny must be more than 1000 at this point.

Wow so Lilia is 700 years old! and Malleus Is 500 yrs old well that answers all our questions about their ages so he might be 19 In human years due to being slightly older then Vil and Rook, omg I feel terrible for Silver I know what It's like to lose someone like that, I lost my Grandfather who helped raised me though blood related and I never knew my actual dad either I still feel the pain after losing him and I do wish he'd come back but he won't Loss is very hard but it's apart of life and Malleus doesn't quite understand that even though he's been around for a longtime but he's also a Fae who lives a longtime. I know his reasoning for what he does next but I am disappointed In him not mad as everything can't be solved by magic and you can't forcibly try to keep people by your side, but the point is everything doesn't stay the same and people will come but they will also go that's how life goes for humans and even Characters like Lilia

Of course, I absolutely don't agree with what he's trying to do, but, honestly, I'm not that disappointed in him. Being disappointed would mean that I expected way better, but I never did, because that would be like expecting a teenager not to do dumb shit. For sure, the feeling isn't nice but it's not like you're *shocked* for what they did because that's sort of what every teenager does, has done, and will do (Humans of all ages do, but particularly during youth, of course). It's just like you said: Malleus is somewhat a teenager. He might have faaaaaar more knowledge, intellect, power and experiences than one because of his species and his long life but, on a much, much deeper and emotional level, he's still like a teenager. He might seem very calm, serious and composed almost all the time, but he often loses control over his emotions the few times they really kick in (a very prominent feature in teens), like when he accidentally causes massive chaos all around him because of something that might seem so trivial to others. That last part is extremely important because: what do you think happens when you have an *extremely lonely and emotionally unstable being that's basically a teenager* and *this absolutely astronomical, humongous, monstruous amount of power* mixed together into *a body that can live for around a thousand years*? *T h e a p o c a l y p s e.* Such being will never truly have a safe control over their power as long as they have little control over their emotions, and that won't happen as long as they're an emotionally unstable t e e n a g e r. Those emotions and loneliness will start building up with time, which is precisely what his life is overflowing with, and could one day explode and lead the being to do something like what Malleus is trying to do. From the very moment that specific mixture was made the world had pretty much already been put under a huge risk.

@@kunoxx7 You're right Yuu, all I hope for next is that this gets solved somehow without anyone getting hurt and I know Malleus will probably reflect on his actions after this is over he may be punished for doing all of this as It's a huge matter that happened, and you're right Malleus is just like any other Teenager but his threshold of emotions can get overwhelmed like now, and I shouldn't have used the word disappointed but I am very sad that things came to this

I was not ready for this. Though in some ways, Malleus is pretty similar to Raiden Shogun from Genshin Impact. Raiden has experienced loosing her loved ones and strives to overcome loss. She was affected by her friends and twin sister's death, and therefore choosing a future of eternity. And because the traveler was a threat to her plans, she fought against them. Malleus on the other hand (not sure), is afraid of loosing those who he loves as he finally isn't alone as he was before. And so because Lilia was loosing his magic and therefore has to leave NRC - it was probably the last thread that made Malleus snap. Even possibly him thinking that we wouldn't last very long as his friend since we're human that can't live over a hundred years like him. I feel so bad to be honest. Raiden was proven wrong in the end, and changed her ways. I'm excited to see how we'll defeat Malleus too. Noticed that Idia didn't fall asleep (everyone probably did, since he's not in the party) - so maybe he might have his time to shine here! I'm not sure about us. I just want to hug Malleus.
