Wow.. your cycling vdeos look so much better than mine 😂 I've done quite a few videos on the bike paths in Ottawa but none of them are smooth, I guess that's what happens when you film with a cell phone. Also, I've done a number of drone videos showing the devastation at the trees from the tornado it ripped a straight line right across the city, it's pretty incredible 27:18 somewhere around here next to the parkway & Tunneys pasture I found the most incredibly radioactive rock, It's not super dangerous but it was so weird to find.

I remember watching your videos of the aftermath of the tornado after it happened. It was a good perspective to really get an idea of how destructive it was. It really makes a difference for biking videos what you use. It took me a little while to work out my setup, but I'm pretty happy with where it's at these days! Cheers!

I grew up in ottawa then moved to nothern ontario Marathon on the north shore of Superior.Three hours east of Thunder bay. We live on a beautiful lake and our log home is heated with wood. We enjoy the serenity here. I remember they close the parkway every Sunday for cycleists when I lived there in the 60s 70s...do they still do that??? Nice video, kinda makes me sad I moved from Ottawa as it has so much to offer. Maybe when we get to our 80s we will move back...lol

Sounds like a pretty cozy place to move to! As much as I love Ottawa and my time there, there's something to be said about living in a quieter area, away from the big cities.

Great video. It would certainly help if you added a map of the ride that you took.

What are you using to record your videos? We see the shadow of what looks like a pole? Ty

I use my Insta360 X4 camera. It's at the end of a selfie stick that's mounted under my handlebars. Probably extended about 3 feet out. It took a while to find a reliable mount for the handlebars. Lots of cheap ones out there that break too easily.

I've expropriated your backyard and incorporated it into my territory.
