Tororo was our Little Prince from the day he was born. He has given us hours of happiness and joy, and has grown up to be the best big brother those beautiful otter babies could have. It was beautiful to see him teaching our little angel how to swim..❤️🦦❤️. Tororo was lucky to have his Mum and Auntie’s full attention growing up, but he has really flourished since his siblings were born. ​@@Jeni10 🍼🥛Tororo and 💛 Mocha (an otter from 이웃집수달 "Otter's Home" Korea) both grew up from birth through to adulthood with much love and attention from both otter-beings and human-beings, and they both really benefited greatly. Plus, they were born as single pups-no siblings of the same age. Well cared for, they were able to relax and sleep long hours, to later explore and take things in at their own pace, which for both of them was very quick; they both turned out to be super intelligent and caring creatures comfortable with nearly anyone. 👐

To be fair to Mocha, Otsuyu has done the same thing to Loutre-mama starting with Tororo 😁

@@Soufriere84 Yah, and as ou already fully know, Latte and Dolche were great parents needing no assistance except for the milk feedings. Mocha was lucky to start those early making it possible for her to trust her human companions from there on out. I am glad Mocha's pups are doing so well and that Mocha and Toffee get some very needed breaks thanks to the human grandparents of the pups. Yes. Is their last name Butler? or, what are their names... the humans that run Otter's Home? Thanks.

Yes, I agree. He may have been a surprise birth but his presence brought two twin ottters; Aunt Odashi and Mom Otsuyu back together, and they both spoiled Tororo with love, kindness and lots of playtime. Now the three of them continue their loving family journey with the pups.

Did you know: Asian small-clawed otters are monogamous. They form strong pair bonds that can last for many years. The alpha male and female in the group will mate for life, and they will work together to raise their young.😊

It's also common for at least some of the offspring to stay in that family group to help raise future litters. 🙂 That's why I sort of roll my eyes at everyone saying Tororo is destined to become a father in the near-term -- that is not how this species works. He's such a mama's boy he won't be going anywhere for awhile. On the flip-side, I wish Odashi could spend time with her prospective mate Komugi so Tororo's dad Oage won't keep getting shafted. 😕

Otters, as we know, are very observant & intelligent -- they seem to have that same sense dogs do of which humans are worthy of opening up to. Loutre-mama obviously is. Not only do her own otters adore her, so do Aty and Kotaro (who knows with ever-moody Hana lol), which means it's not just food-based loyalty. This is despite otters not being domesticated yet. 😊

Toro is such a lovely, handsome, adorable otter! ❤ He is an amazing brother to his siblings, son to his mom, and nephew to his aunt! There is no doubt in my heart that he will continue to grow up wonderfully and eventually be a fantastic dad to kids of his own! ❤❤❤❤❤

He is unbelievably adorable! I love how engaged you guys are with your otters rather than leaving them alone in cages, You show them lots of love. I used to be a zoo keeper at the Oakland Zoo and my favorite part of the day was checking on the Asian smaw-clawed Otters then feeding them and training them. They would always cuddle on my lap when they would eat and sometimes hide their heads in my pockets when I had to leave. They are very social and sweet animals. My favorite to work with.
