Nice books ... my Ross Macdonald collection focuses on the Bantam softcover reprints from the 1970s, as well as a few softcover pocket paperbacks from the early 1960s with more traditional noir covers. Love those Bantam covers! Wish I could track down the original art.

Why haven't you ever presented Margaret Millar? I do think she had a much greater talent than her husband Ross MacDonald. Thanks a lot for this program you have been giving us.Best wishes

Sorry, Otto. Reading the opening pages of The Galton Case, with its drifts of redundant prose and faux conflicts, is the reading equivalent of a punishment beating.
