Or Plowing as most people around the world spell it. I guess it's neat but it seems, after seeing my dad's Economy tractor and tiny plow plow fields in no time, to be a huge waste of energy, materials and time. It's live they REALLY over did it with the enormous tractors, etc...

The plows towed by these German traction engines (Largest of the drum types) go over 15 feet into the ground, which is needed to get the peat out onto the topsoil. So it really is justified.

I wondered why they were working so deep. Fascinating. Datsun - if I called myself that I'd keep a low profile.....perhaps I should call myself Land Rover!

@@RockyRailroadProductions_B0SS, the real reason is the hardpen under the peat . The plow is supposed to break the hardpen and works until max. 12 feet into the ground.

Most people? Hardly. Only Americans spell it that way.
