I miss Maintainer!! Am grateful he was able to put the band-mates together before his demise...I still remember when he came to see my dad insisting they re-make their songs cos according to him, the songs where fading away... He died a year after they made this. Now their memory lives on through this video. Plus, Its fun to see my Dad on KZbin! To all my Ika people, I greet you all from the City of CHICAGO!

Pls how can we revive this group? The video was shot at our house in Lagos. 12. Osolo Way Ajao Estate, my late mom organized it. Our culture is fading away 😢😢😢😢😢

These songs and dance by this historically and cultural talented people here should be place in the Edo and Agbor Archives! As an Edo son, I remember growing up and my great grandfather villages dancing and singing so similar and comparably same. It definitely shows Edo and Agbor are the same!

@@osayameniyamu-noma380 they are very unique people people, who love peace, and progress, they are not proud, they don't insult others, they talk less. They are old has Benin kingdom, And they were autonomous kingdom of their during the Benin empire During 12th century their ancestors traded with Benin and Portuguese in Palm oil production, They opened doors for massive igbo immigrants to their land, Instead of them to defend their identity they accept been called igbo. Igbo that settle with them started giving them igbo names, Many still bear Benin names as family names, also many bear ika names, they speak ika language. Though many speak some kind of Igbo which the igbo across the bridge called fake igbo in their back.
