I am so happy for Sykunno, Miyoung, & Specially Rae!! three of them had struggles in friendship specially during their highschool - college days. And during Rae's tough time she even had a "We're not friends" person in her friendship circle, glad that whatever type of relationship they had ended fast and it did not escalate to more toxicity.

When Daph's chat was asking her to address the drama she did, & told her chat that she doesn't see Rae as a friend, but Rae sees her as a friend and so did everyone on OTV & F then she doubled down by saying, all the streamers she interacts with are not her friends and that they're just "business partners". Everyone from OTV & F understood her take and just didn't interact with her anymore. It must've hurt for Rae because Daph was one of the few who Rae had a really fun time playing horror games & interactions in the OTV servers.

Miyoung, maplestory was my safe place too! I had no one in real life, not a single person and I found such a solid friend group on maplestory. That was in 2007. I was in high school then. I married my best friend from maplestory! We’ve been together 15 years and have a child and bought a house last year! Virtual friends are very real and valid.

How can you know if it’s not you? I used to be in a friend group where i was scared of saying anything because then they thought “you’re so weird.” And knowing that wasn’t healthy i walked away from that group but recently with another friend group, i got called “weird” again but in a more healthy and jokingly manner. I dont know if my self confidence is too low or i havent found people im comfortable 😢

One of the group of friends i used to live and hang out with vapes, smokes, do drugs and i thought it was normal. Although i was quite persistent in not wanting to do it because of my upbringing, it really made me dis-believe in everything i hold value. And im still very insecure about it now but i read a quote somewhere turns out them trying to convince that those thing are good for you and healthy is how they cope. Im a constant reminder that someone defies their belief. Well i guess the point is stepping out of that group made me look back how i could doubt myself and how do i know if i were the one who should change or not?
