Hey Lily! You’re probably not going to see this but by chance you do I have some advice. I love that you are taking Tekken seriously and are getting advice from coaches like Phidx, however from what I’m seeing you tend to forget a lot of basic fundamentals. There’s a lot I could go over but I’m just going to cover being aggressive because from this video alone it shows that tend to struggle with it. For example when Toast told you to be aggressive while he just blocks you didn’t know what to do. You kept hop kicking which was unsafe and could easily get punished. The easiest move to put pressure is 1, 2 jab. It’s fast and reliable. Something else you could do is b2,1. It’s a fast high into a mid and by holding forward you automatically go into dew glide. This is great because you can continue to put on pressure and set up frame traps. For example, during dew glide press 3+4 and it does a spin kick that’s +6 on block. Immediately press f1+2 to catch them in a frame trap. I’m pretty sure you already learnt this from someone on stream but I noticed you struggled getting into dew glide and so you stopped doing it in matches. Something else you could do while in dew glide is 1+2. It’s a super armor and catches people off guard because a lot of people are going to try to hit Lili out of dew glide since she’s usually vulnerable during it. Also another thing I noticed is that you like using 3,1 in neutral to get into heat. That’s fine but if you use it too much your opponent can easily hit you out if it because there’s an opening between each hit. I have a lot more to say but I don’t want this comment to be too long.
