Yo my dude, using a rubber band for the battery storage in the grip is awesome! you have everything at your disposal to make nylon/elastic inserts with a pull tab. I bet people would buy them!!

One of the reasons I love the T2 is because you can buy clear front and rear lens caps for it. I always run with em closed and just treat the lens caps as a disposable item if they get scratched beyond my liking. Better than the actual glass getting scratched and I don’t feel bad about wiping em with my glove if they get dirty in the field. For iron sights check out Continuous Precision, they have a good “low witness” set that give a good field of view. For the rifle sling nothing has compared to the Centrifuge sling for patrol or vehicle work and overall just being compact.

The Noveske is def quality, it was just not configured correctly for our intended use / suppressor. And man the MCS accessories are expensive!

Most are issued, is they are the screen printed ones. The IR cell ones are from Firstspear.

Not sure if it will work for your shotgun but Streamlight makes the TL-Racker shotgun forend light. Says compatible with Remington 870 just not sure about the specific model.

I don’t think normal friends will work with the MCS. But they do make one with two led small lights on them.

And thats why you should always have atleast a 0.7" or a 0.8" shorter rail depending on your barrel length. (example 10.75" rail, 11.5" barrel")

@@SoileaterYT have you guys already decided on new uppers/rifles or is that still under T&E? Me myself have had bad experiences with the Noveske NSR Mlok/keymod rails. I like the design with a longer barrelnut that offers more rigidity, similar to the Geissele rails, but I have unfortunately dented some when being up in the mountains, tripping and having the rail hit a rock. Made me lean to thicker more rigid systems, but those weigh more so its all pros and cons as you know.

@@SoileaterYT just a tip if you need an expedient solution without having to remove the barrelnut and want to run supressed, purchase a 15" NSR Mlok handguard, fits on your current NSR barrelnut, chopping it down at around the fifth Mlok slot gives you a 10.4" rail and clearance for a can. I just did this last weekend and just wanted to give you the tip. Takes 2-3min with a dremel.

Dan, check out 10-8 Performance for Glock sights. That’s all I use on my M&P pistols-great quality. Have you guys considered piston uppers? They run cooler & cleaner than DI. PWS makes some great uppers. SLR Rifleworks makes some excellent rails as well, but they aren’t cheap. I’ve seen your teams Noveske up close, still boggles my mind why that rail was even on the gun if your running suppressed.

I will check those sights out thank you. Yeah it’s a long story with the rifle/rails. We had two hours to make a decision and it was overlooked. We used to run piston, I prefer DI.

@@SoileaterYT you’ll have no problem finding what you’re looking for there. Caleb is a good dude (owner) and he’s always willing to help when needed. I prefer his “low” witness sights for both of my 17’s. I’ve found his .305 or .315 I can’t remember to be perfect for enclosed emitters with the .285 being my go to for open emitters.

“First of all lower your voice” haha. The dept is switching from g21’s to g17’s eventually. When dealing with dept purchasing and institutional inertia, it’s hard to just switch to different brands. Armorers, training on the differences between Glock/ HK causes more obstacles. Also pricing.
