1 way to get ready to fight you can hit mitts counter punch drills and bag all day when someone punches you in you’re shi trying to get you ready it’s different
@jaruto7743Ай бұрын
@@DM0zor you can spar. This is an unlicensed event where they’re most likely selling tickets and profiting off of . USA boxing would not approve , and the lack of standing 8 counts can be damaging to some of these amateur boxers .
@DM0zАй бұрын
@ it’s just not true USA boxing doesn’t supervise any sparring at all for 1 for 2 I’ve seen kids get put down in sparring theses also aren’t regular fighters the whole idea of the event is that someone stands out well enough to get signed to be with a organization most of these kids are probably going to go for the pro card anyway

1. From a content standpoint this good for the boxing community 2. Sparring with headgear still can take some years off you….don’t get these dudes chopped up before even making it to the bright lights 3. Never trust a fat coach and never trust a coach who want the spotlight on him….why he even in the ring
@OfficialParallel8Ай бұрын
Yeah after reading some comments I will agree that these guys approached this event like a smoker but that isn’t how it’s marketed. We just can’t control what people do in the ring when they get in there. As for your second point, I agree but again not something we asked for or suggested in anyway. I think people get more social media recognition by showing off their technique without hurting the other person too bad but that’s just my opinion
@deathmatchhhАй бұрын
dude telling them to work of they getting put out and giving some of the fighters advice mid rounds, also talking to people during the spars lol he thinks its a real fight going on, so unprofessional

This is how we make ourselves look unserious. You’re in the corner of the ring with a folding chair and another man has to come in to ref… while you still sit. What benefits the fighters in that?

Another solid event by those who made it possible! If you know anyone's name and weight comment it below! Also, as a reminder, this is just from my angle. The actual production with more personal attention to the gym/boxers will come out from the OTX team!

This is the first videos from you guys I can say i dont like. That immature gentleman in the ring with the figher, all up in the videos like P diddy cracking jokes, acting like he's the star taking away from the 2 guys in the ring putting in work. More enganged with outside conversations than what's going on in the ring. A grown immature man.

I am one person amigo and I didn’t have control over what was happening in the ring. Coming from the New York Proving Ground my expectations were there but I had a similar reaction as most of you.

Respectfully.. us as an audience knows it’s not your fault you did your job. But I’m glad the comments are still pointing out what needs to be pointed out.

This is fire but I think as a community we gotta distinguish "sparring" with fighting. Going 100, looking for knockouts, these are fights in my opinion. And thats great, these boys did good work, shoutout to P8 as always.
@OfficialParallel8Ай бұрын
I don’t think you’re wrong but I also believe it’s up to the coaches/ref to control the pace or speak up when someone is doing too much. Some places operate like Mayweathers dog house and some places operate like other places you’ve seen on this channel. Ultimately neither I or OTX have control over it. But maybe some filters should be in place for the future?
