Она в основном состоит из народа Чулы. «Otyken» - музыкальная группа коренных народов Сибири, которая смешивает элементы современной поп-музыки с местной народной музыкой, используя традиционные инструменты, тексты песен и языки.«Otyken» - слово на чулымском языке, в переводе на русский означающее «священное место силы; место, где воины складывали оружие». Сейчас на чулымском языке говорят всего 44 человека в мире. Сам иногда посещал их деревню Чулым. Желаю вам успеха в познании мира. Мир вам!

You mentioned that you saw something about them as American native Indian. Geneticist trace the Ainu of northern Japan and the Indian tribes of the Pacific Northwest coast (SE Alaska on down through Oregon) to Otyken’s ancestors ( maternal linkage/ mtDNA). I personally see some shared phenotypic traits, but also see some art, costume, etc. of the Chulym reflected in the Ainu and PNW tribal cultures.

haha doesn't look like pops is having any of it, I love this band... btw my first concert was Iron Maiden Number of the Beast, I was 12 years old. Hi. A musical instrument that is clamped with teeth is called a vargan. Otyuken cannot sing in Mongolian because they are Chulyms, the ancient ancestors of the Turkic peoples. Only 400 people speak the Chulym language. Otyuken is considered a sacred place where the Turks first appeared on earth and from there dispersed around the world. This is the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Siberia. According to Turkic mythology, the capital of all great states was to be founded here.

I am a Jew from the Urals - I looked on social networks - half of my distant relatives are from Ukraine - these are Kharkov and Odessa!! I talked about this topic at work - almost everyone at work has relatives in Ukraine - these are second cousins!!! In the Urals, I somehow didn’t pay attention to the war - it doesn’t concern me at all!!! And so I thought - it’s true that brother is fighting with brother in Ukraine!!!!

The problem here is transcription from the Cyrillic alphabet. The Russian U looks quite like a Latin Y so it can escape transcription. The same goes for the Cyrillic E, which should transcribe as YE. We end up with a lot of wrong pronunciations this way.

They are singing on one of pre-Russian indinginous Siberian people language. Actually they are not Russian themselves - they are from indiginous Siberian peoples who lived in the Siberia for thousands of years - long before Russians came there.

The members of Otyken have different lineage - some of them Selcups, Kets, Сhulims, Dolgany Hakasses - all of these peoples live in Siberia before Russians come - and Russians generally do not opressed them (except for taxation) so they preserved a lot of traditions and cultura; aspects... It is interesting most of Otyken songs is written in Chulimese language - it is dying language - only 40 or so humans on Earth may fluently speak it and two of them are members of the Otyken if I remember correctly. The Chulims are mostly mixed with other peoples of Siberia (Slavic Russian including) and forgot their language as in new families they've most commonly speak Russian , which was understandable to anyone (you know - Russia is inhabited by 100+ peoples and slavic Russians is only one of them), but several hundreds of pure-Chulims communities still exist in some villages - but most of them barely know their language.
