Murray is a great College qb but to small for success in the pros just like Baker Mayfield. Plenty of hype about him right now but it won't last. He is to small to create a lasting career with all these huge/athletic defensive lineman in the NFL.

Not a huge play...but love when Murray is scrambling around in the pocket (~10:10) and yells out "Tre, Tre, Tre!" and Sermon releases off his block, catches a pass, and gets a nice gain. Testament to the creativity and intelligence of this offense. Such a fun team to watch. Lincoln Riley is a wizard
@KoDrHo6 жыл бұрын
I mean I'd say it's a huge play. It was a spur of the moment type play ran against a defense who had the original call shut down.

chippyness aside...not one single high octane hurry up offensive team has yet to win a national title
@houseontherock83456 жыл бұрын
goop 321 has nothing to do with this comment. Also that's not true. Ohio State, Clemson, and Bama (who has run a no huddle spread attack the past few years) have all won a title. You're thinking of teams without at least a serviceable defense or rushing attack.
@houseontherock83456 жыл бұрын
goop 321 oh and almost forgot. OU was running Mike Leach's system in 2000. No running game but a killer defense.

Team looked good, and holding this offense to only 130 rush yards is comforting, but I'm holding out hope on the defense improving until we play a Big XII offense. TCU and KSU are the worst O's in the conference. Tech, WVU, OSU will be real tests.

It seems like a lifetime ago, but after yesterday's meltdown, I wonder if many people remember this game. I kind of do. Human nature, I guess, when you've lost to the same opponent 2 years in a row, you want to go back to the last time you beat them. I don't think the Sooners will win the Big 12 this year. Let someone else win it. 5 years in a row, that's a good run. WE DON'T DESERVE IT ANYWAY!

Could OU beat the RedBlacks
@OttawaRocks5 жыл бұрын
@@cinnaminson0653 Good question! I've wondered the same myself. More generally, could the best NCAAF team beat any CFL team with better than 50/50 odds? For my 2 cents, I would say no. Most top level college kids make such fundamental errors (despite their talent) that I would say they wouldn't be able to do it on a consistent basis. Basically, I can't imagine 21 or younger kids beating up on more mature seasoned 27 year olds (even if the 27 year olds had less talent). Yes, an occasional win is possible but I wouldn't bet on a greater than .500 record from a college team.
