Oklahoma Softball continues to dominate, inking the nation's #1 recruiting class in the 2024 class.

Having followed Sooner Softball for the last 15-plus years one thing that stands out to me is that Patty Gasso always looks for players that excel both on the field and off of the field. Having watched your interviews with some of these new players I believe she wants to turn these young girls into accomplished young women and you can see that with players who have graduated from the program .

It's very very simple athletes want to play on a team that is going forward and has a chance at winning championships. No other college softball team in the country is trending as high as the Sooners are right now. It's just another version of the law of the jungle the biggest and the best get to eat first. They are always has been and always will be in any sport those that don't like the elite and they do their best to try and beat them. It helps make for good competition. Coach Gasso has worked for years and years for this. BOOMER SOONER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jordy Bahl was the #1 recruit in her class in the entire country. Sad to see her leave but I will rout for her at Nebraska, O know I speak fror so many when I say Jordy had to make a choice that was best for her and as far as I am concerned we love her and thank her for what she brought to Oklahoma and she will be an ambassador to that when she plays for the huskers. WEin the big 10 Jordy, BGoomer Sooner still in our hearts.

Great! Gasso signs another elite class. So I'm sure Gasso will hit the transfer portal in order to replace many of them. While also making sure these outstanding players are not able to play against OU. How'd y'all like seeing Nicole May crying at the end of the game because Gasso stabbed her in the back for a 1 yr trophy hunter in Maxwell? Oh, that's right, y'all don't stand up for players. Promote Gasso? Definitely not our job. However, I believe she is a great champion and the greatest coach of all time, on and off the field arguably. I don’t know why May was crying. I have an opinion of why, but I don’t know for sure. May was likely crying because it was her last collegiate game of her life, and she was a MAYjor part of the great championship teams!! Gasso played two freshmen nearly every game last year. There will be some turnover on great teams and bad teams, especially with the transfer portal now. That just happens.
