This scene was awesome. I really liked the Regina/Tink friendship. It makes me wish Storybrooke Regina had a friend or two. Maybe the end of S3 wouldn't have been so soul destroying for her if she'd had a friend to turn to when the shit hit the fan. I really think that more than a love interest, she just needs a proper friend. Some with a purely unselfish interest in her happiness. Someone she can be herself with and actually talk to. I think S3 Storybrooke Regina would get it right a second time around...

Yeah, I mean, I have to admit, Maleficient was a pretty shitty friend. Maleficient knew all of the shit that happened to Regina, but Maleficient did not even try to help Regina (ex: getting Regina therapy or talking to Regina or just being there for her).When Regina was trying to enact the dark curse, Maleficient responded by saying "That curse is kept in my staff for the good of all, old friend." I mean, you don't just abandon your best friend after KNOWING the shit that your best friend went through. Not to mention, Maleficient was also the one who taught Regina to be powerful in the first place, enabling Regina's dark side. Regina never had a genuine friend who actually gave a shit about her...... and the sad part is, Regina considers Maleficient her best friend.
