It seems they brought in the ice queen from the original stories and all her monstrous form while staying true to her essence. She was a coldhearted, murderous being who was death’s symbolic representative. Her world was empty pain with no joy in her castle. I think this show brought some other sides to the character that I think all in all would make for a fantastic movie. One part horror and 2 parts redemption, with all the layers that CAN come with that, combined with the emotional aspect the show brought. Thank of the Prince of Egypt and all the layers it had that we’re fully developed. You could have all of that in a story like this about the Snow Queen.

I don't know if it's just because Juliet was my favorite character on Lost so I brought that love to Ingrid as well, but I just felt terrible for her the whole season.
