Let me get a little sappy here. Knowing these characters and all the trials they've been through, it made me happy cry to see them singing this song. It's not about a happy ending, but as the title suggests, it's a happy beginning. They've all come so far and in better places than where they were in their pasts, but the problem doesn't stop there. They were singing this song right before the Black Fairy curse takes them heaven knows where, but they know it's another struggle they gonna get through. In this sense, this song in its whole context is so empowering: so long as you know that you've got your 'happy beginning', you can trust to overcome any challenge to come.

I am listening to this day and night, 5 work days = 8 hours of work; on the train, in the weekends; when I cant I hear it i'm singing it myself. It's so uplifting! It gives me hope. And I think that is what this series tries to do. And this episode has done. A happing beginning is what i'm searching for. And if Emma and Regina can find it, why can't I? A lot of people hating on this episode because it is a musical, but music has become a great part of fairytails and this is excactly what it needed. the power of music can change everyone! Once Upon A Time, you have brought me untold joy and hope. Emma Swan and the rest of you amazing characters.....thank you. Thank you for being the most important thing in my life. I started watching the show when I was 9 and it opened up my eyes to a whole new world. Emma Swan inspired me to be so much more that I didn't know I could be. She inspired me to be strong, feisty, and most importantly....vulnerable. I cant wait til season 7, but until then....it's farewell Emma Swan and at least Hook and Emma got their happy ending that they deserved. Emma Swan....you are the purest soul, kindest heart, and bravest friend. Hook is so lucky to have you and vise-versa as well. I literally started sobbing when Emma "died." But when Henry woke her up you cant even imagine the amount of relief that went through my veins. I just seen this episode. I've been watching Once Upon A Time for a few years now and i absolutely love it. They really did this episode justice and i don't know about anybody else but i got flashes of every season shining through and they really summed it all up. Words cannot describe how i felt through this episode because to me, it was perfect. This is possibly my favorite scene in the entire Once Upon A Time series! The song, the expressions of joy on all their faces, the pure happiness that Emma and Hook share together is just beautiful! And don’t get me started on their vow exchange! The only thing I would have loved to see in this scene, was the Mad Hatter dancing with this daughter Grace for even just a moment with big smiles on their faces, as well as Cinderella with her Prince, Ariel and Eric, and Aladdin and Jasmine as well. I think with all these iconic characters in this one scene, it would have been beyond epic. But as I said before, this is still a favorite scene of mine, and it was so well done, and very memorable!! 🤗

I seriously wish they had just ended the show with this season... I would have been so satisfied. They closed up everyones storylines and it would have been a perfect ending. Don't get me wrong, I love the show and have been watching since the first season but I think most people can agree that the show has gone downhill and lost its quality in the last few seasons. The last time I genuinely enjoyed the show was season 3. They're just stretching it now, especially when the majority of the main cast is leaving.

Yeah, I know right. I loved the past 6 seasons. They have brought me so much joy, and taught me to be a better person. To embrace your weaknesses and you strengths. But I honestly think they do not need a season 7. Without Jen!! I was so sad when I heard she was not returning. I was crying when I read the tweets from all the cast who was leaving. I only started watching OUAT in 2020 because I found it on Disney+ from then I binged watched it. I just finished season 6 and love this song and episode. I also like the way each character has changed throughout the seasons from the first all the way to this. It's sad the 8th season was cancelled but I think the show was getting worse reviews from the 4th/5th? So people stopped watching it. I still love this show. This song says " Tomorrow is uncertain, who knows what it will bring" this means that the future may seem unknown. Then it says " There's no storm we can't out run we will always find the sun. Leave the past and all its scars A happy beginning now its ours" which means that they'll maybe some tough times but we'll always come out the other side. We can then leave all the bad stuff out of our lives and we start a new beginning.

This is cornyer than most Disney songs. But i still keep coming back to it even after i finished once upon a time because this song holds so much weight when youve been with the characters throughout their entire journey youve seen them grow and overcome all number of problems. Nothing could keep them apart their love for each other is really what powerd the whole show. Thats why the line "if we all stand strong together theres no way we can fall" hits so hard. Im an ahs fan so i originally thought this show would be to kid like for my liking now that ive finished it i still can't get enough of it 😂
