I would add youth dew to this! The morning after your video about it, my first patient smelled really good - even through the obligatory mask. And she was wearing youth dew that she applied more than 14 hours before She has worn no other perfume for over 40 years, said it is just a part of her now 🧡 I know you had said it, but I didn’t know how gorgeous it could smell.

Oh I love this video, thank you so much. My main concern is sillage and the type of projection I can expect from a fragrance. Longevity is not important to me if it's performing as a 'skin scent' (such an sneaky, get-out-of-jail term these days). I'm interested in a really delightful 'puff' of scent swirling around my being like a welcoming and slightly intoxicating micro-climate. If nobody can smell my carefully chosen fragrance, then what's the point of me spending all that time and money on it in the first place? I'm deeply envious of people whose body chemistry really cooperates when it comes to projection and sillage. Wonderful! For me, it's always back to the drawing board. Edit: Bee by Zoologist is a FANTASTIC layering option. You can get really creative with it, you'd be genuinely shocked to smell the kinds of fragrances it works with instead of dominates or deforms.

Fabulous collection and wonderful descriptions!! I’d have to say Giorgio by Giorgio Beverly Hills was one of the strongest perfumes I’ve ever smelled. My aunt sprayed it on herself once or twice and I couldn’t get away from the scent lol. I do love strong fragrances though. Sometimes you just gotta be spray happy and enjoy ☺️👍🏼

I’ve often had good luck with things lasting on me. However, I remember trying Bana Banana from L’artisan not too long ago and being baffled by it. I swear it lasted 15 minutes. Such a weird one. As for a long-lasting one you didn’t mention, I bought a well-loved bottle of Inquisitive from Boadicea the Victorious for a massive discount and my GOD that scent lasts for OVER A DAY on me. It is wood, green and smoke forever. Wow.

You must try vintage Opium, it's gorgeous and so long lasting! Another super long-lasting warm'n'spicy floral bomb is vintage version of Estee Lauder's Spellbound...the original one in the black & gold box (not all-gold box which is the reform.) stunning, rich and syrupy & my favourite Sophia Grojsman creation. Yes I have i tried them side by side. i'm not sure Rien needs an "intense" version coz omg. honestly? There was NO difference in tonality or smell. Longevity? I daren't. The original was ENOUGH! haha. The intense one smelled the same....but it permeated my life that liiitle bit extra. :)

People should consider about the climate of where they are living, it matters much. Also where they are spraying the perfume, i dont spray on skin, so most of my perfumes lasts longer on clothes. And yes Byredo lasts longer and projects bigger in hot humid weather like here in Indonesia. Mojave Ghost and Pulp especially.

POAL is my super special going out to events, anniversary dinners, etc. I usually overspray and am "that person". L'agent prices used to be dirt cheap a year or two ago and now they are through the roof. Would like to try it but at $30 for a 10ml no thanks. How do you get Bee to project/last? Skin chemistry... Maybe I need to overspray it. LADM is an absolute beast. It's so gorgeous I overspray and you can smell me everywhere. Zoologist Civet is a big one for me. I adore it so overspray and the whole house smells of it. Great video again! and love the stories :) You're the best!

The strongest frag i have ever tried was The Night by FM. Literally 24 hours after I sprayed it twice on my wrists, it was still going strong. One of the most beautiful Oud scents I’ve ever tried by far.

I have EDP in vintage and new version and also Parfum De Toilette. I would go for the EDP. The "intense! version is an entirely different perfume they launched with the same name, it smells of marshamallows and in dark purple packaging. Not the same scent as this gorgeous red one. So, make sure you get the correct one. :)

I had do stop spraying Coromandel EDT directly on clothes after an incident with my favourite jumper. The Coromandel survived a wool wash, drying down to the kind aroma of dank, mouldy old basement you immediately have to throw in the wash again. The poor jumper has never recovered.

I got most of them from hunting online. :) And research. :) the newest version is of course not as good as the first, but...it is ok, there are many perfumes that are reformulated and RED CAP is not a bad one. :)

I think Lust has been reformulated/watered down. I got a bottle recently and the juice isn't particularly red - it's still kinda loud, but not as massive as I was expecting.
