I live in NV where there is very low humidity and use the full Curl Quencher line. I use CQ gel and Moisture Lock L-I-C daily to every other day. I put a spin on refreshing by putting a little cream or souffle in a regular spray bottle then adding water to it. Give it a good shake and spray on my hair. Trying to rub a refresher can make it frizzy or just totally mess things up. I have a swiffer, never broke one. I call it dinner. We say 6-8 am breakfast (brunch if it is closer to lunch time, 10 am), 11 am lunch (linner if it is closer to dinner time, 2 pm), 5 pm dinner (supper if it is closer to 8 pm). Names in parentheses are usually when on vacation and schedule is different from when at home.

i love the curl quencher line as well. Saturday is wash day...curl quencher shampoo and condish, moisture lock leave-in, curl quencher defining cremé and styling gel. nicely defined 3c curls for 6 days. I love only having to do my hair once a week and just spritz with a little aloe vera juice in the morning to plump the curls back up after crushing them while I slept. I might try the curl immersion line also. Ouidad markets the custard as a "Unique oil-in-gel formula defines kinky curls and infuses moisture for all-day hold and shine." so that maybe a good combo for me.

My hair absolutely loves this product. No other product gives me the shine, control, moisture, etc... I really hate the price but it’s normally on sale at Ulta or online. I was wondering if I was the only one in the world (with my hair type) who loves this product.

I use deep conditioners as leave ins all the time as long as they aren't protein heavy. I think moisture overload only comes from leaving your hair wet with deep conditioner for hours. If you look at the ingredients of moisturizing deep conditioners and leave ins, the difference is really only in the concentration.

And my daughter and I are currently ADDICTED to Ouidad's Curl Immersion co-wash (low lather cleansing conditioner) and the Triple Treat deep conditioner. I use two finger tips of the deep conditioner (one tip to coat the back and sides and middle of my hair and the second tip to coat the top, edges and sides again) as a leave in. It's very thick and buttery and doesnt take much to coat all of my strands. I love it.

My stylist used the coconut cleanser on me last year which was really nice just forgot to ask if it had lather or none! I never tried ouidad masks before but on the 17th there's a 50 off for the mongongo oil and recovery mask in 2 weeks. i think its​ weird ouidad has more sales on ultas site and devacurl never has any at all lol.

Fabulous, MAD Curls! Love the purple color scheme and LOVE the results! You are helping me learn the Ouidad lines. Love this one! TaylorAnne, yes go darkER for fall (not as black as your IG post,though). I think the intense moisturizing is affecting the full mane results you live, but it looks beautiful. LOL LoriAnne forgetting to rinse the DC. I would try the low lather cleanser, the deep condish, and the souffle (might give my hair more moisture than the custard which seems more gel-like). Nice Video! TaylorAnne you should consider using a leave in to seal the cuticles of your hair especially since its color treated. Custards and Gels don’t have the same moisturizing capabilities as a leave in. Over time you might notice dry/brittleness in your hair, even though it looks great now.

So keep watching 🤣 Yes..... my “mop” story. 🤣🤣🤣 and Yes, our hair is definitely growing. It was that heat and humidity of the Summer. My hair always grows so much faster in the Summer. I keep changing my mind about trying to do it three times per week because it seems like people who wet their hair more frequently have the most growth; but then when I get to day 4 and it still looks decent (or isn’t tangled), I put it off another day so I usually only do 2 wash n gos per week at the most. @@MADCURLS it looked dirty to her so she removed the bottom thingy (it's removable unbeknownst to me) and popped it in the washer and it never was the same again 😂😂 she tried to put it back but it wouldn't close 😂😂😂😂😂. She's too clean for her own good lmao Yes I have seen a change in my hair, not drastic but a difference.

Nope!!! No sun this summer... So much so, my doctor said I have a Vitamin D deficiency which I have NEVER had... I went to Las Vegas for 8 days and that took care of my Vitamin D deficiency... I was DARK!!!!
