The memories of my dad and I staging beside each other at a small town 1/8th mile track will be with me for life. I love what you guys at SXSblog are putting out. Jeff from western Pennsylvania

Hey brother just a piece of friendly advice I noticed you start your burn out in the water box I think it might be better if you roll through the water box that way you don’t get so much water on your tires and don’t spray it up into your fender wells where it could be dripping back down on your launch
@600wheel3 жыл бұрын
Edit: also I know this is easier said than done but when you’re breaking traction and you lift to regain traction try and teach yourself to only lift a little bit so you don’t hit the blow off valve and dump all your boost these are all things I learned the hard way so I hope maybe they help a little bit. Good luck guys that machine is second to nothing and when I see you post a video about it I get a beer or six kick up my feet and enjoy the hell out of it. Thanx man

@SXS blog I feel like they way the suspension is setup in the back not having a straight axle when the tires crack off the start it cambers the tires and doesn’t leave all the tire on the ground Lifting the outside edge and making it more prone to spin not having as much contact patch on the ground

On the launch, the suspension compresses to the point where the tires are cambered. Meaning less tire contacting the ground. Might be a part that’s affecting traction.

@Blusmbl3 жыл бұрын
Radial track prep is typically different (stickier) than slick tire prep. Sometimes Lapeer is radial prepped for some of Payso’s races but for the most part everything here is prepped for slicks. Maybe find a set of normal slicks for local stuff?
@paleggett18973 жыл бұрын
Love you guys. So glad to see your many successes. Being a speed nut, I have serious worries - approaching freaking... safety first is not an option. You need to seriously revisit the deadly scenarios you are creating with the Awesome JZ.your safety cage is woefully inadequate. Check with KSR at Indy if you go there. YOU need at least a 7.5sec cage standard.... if you run on a track, you need to meet and exceed the NHRA codes❤️ Hit that loud petal‼️‼️‼️ Bless Up❣️

If those are radials you might need to change to slicks because radials need to be hit hard at the starting line and the suspension will rise up instead of squat.

1 thing cool about you guys is you show the good the bad and the ugly not alot of youtubers do that at least not successful ones
@kylestewart83543 жыл бұрын
In my opinion when you have a rail car that is mid engine. You dont need any squat in the rear. You need more tire. Cheese and crackers 👍
@jamesuzzle31433 жыл бұрын
Only problem I see is the slicks are radials if u heat them like slicks they get greasy as hell clean them off and that’s all for maximum traction the more smoke more heat less traction. Ide find some shorter wider slicks and they grow a lot more which will increase gear ratio as it gets down the track
@TNRACER733 жыл бұрын
Gotta put some Mickey Thompson Soft Sidewall Slicks on there and is it possible to get some squat out of it? The slicks would help the most.
