I see a cage in the sidekick coming. Something I think would be cool is a full exhaust for street (not so sleeper) mode and leave the side exit for strip or need the extra power to win. The sidekick is a cool little monster.

The sidekick could be such a SLEEPER! I think it would be super sick to run a full exhaust on it with a quiet muffler, and have an electric cut out dumping behind the front wheel for ripping. Put like a Nascar style tip on the cutout dump. Make it sound stock otherwise.

The proper way to fill an auto trans is to add a few quarts, slowly shift through all the gears via shifter, not driving, then recheck when hot.

Dude. You need some fire safety system in the mr2. Now you have to find the latches and open the door if you want get out in case of a fire. And that can be hard if there is smoke in cabin. Be safe my guys!

That’s nasty as hll. I had the opportunity to ride in one of the very first Suzuki Samurais ever on the road in the USA. Even better, it was with my dad who was in the industry back then so we could do whatever the hll we wanted with it and it was all covered under testing. We never got to build one like this but we did talk about wedging a V8 in one somehow. One day maybe. Always cool to see what people have done with these things over the years. Stay cool.

I lived in Jacksonville, FL, from 87-2011, and had owned a few clapped out, but so Damn fun 1st gens (78, 81, 83, 85) lived each and every one of them But it was WELL KNOWN that the Puerto Ricans in town had ALL the Doritos, and making ALL the power I know a few guys with 15-20 of them each it got even worse, the further south you went They are great motors when left stock, or sprinkled with magic Vargas dust They just have such different tuning tricks, and the simple "machining tricks" you can do to them But look at these Vargas engines -this, the mystery machine machine, the RePu, the red 1st gen burnout Mochi can t00n a wankel

It really kinda makes sense to have a second sidekick with and identical power train running and being “broken in” as a back up for when you start pushing it hard, you will lose a engine it will happen so it’s better to have that back up ready to burn with a quick swap

Yes if you opened door and turned window sideways at 190 mph . That’s not the way it works though when door is closed . Your mainly fighting cabin pressure which unless the windshield fell out won’t be worse then him pushing as hard as he was . Race cars have run these window setups at 260 mph plus with out failing .
