This video helped me decide. I'm not looking for extravagant resort for our first visit with a toddler. and I'm not looking for a large property. this looks perfect for a small family who doesn't want to be around the partiers. Thank you!

It was included with our package, air Canada vacations is who we used, but most packages include transportation

Thanks for this upload. Can you recommend other family resort in Cancun? Would you say that this is your favorite? Thanks again.
@adelalic710 ай бұрын
I actually haven’t been to too many family resorts, as my son is only 3.5 I’ve stayed at the moon palace and that one has a decent play area and pretty good resort overall. Also stayed at the royalton splash and I’d say that would be my favorite between the three. Hope that helps you a little bit with your research! :)

Hi! Thanks for the upload, lovely video. We are a Canadian family considering to go there from Vancouver but I'm so afraid of food poisoning.. I've had it years ago in Cancun and once was enough.. On a scale from 1 to 10, how careful were you? 1 being totally careless, drinking tap water and 10 being totally paranoid, not eating anything uncooked and sanitizing cutlery and plates on your own?
@adelalic710 ай бұрын
Hi! Oh no sorry to hear you had such an unpleasant experience! Honestly, the only thing we didn’t do was drink the tap water - that being said, we brushed our teeth with the tap water, I washed my sons bottles with it as well. Other than that we didn’t do anything else, aside from normal sanitization (washing hands before you eat). So I’d say 2? Lol. Hope that eases your mind a little bit :)

How far away from Seadust is the market place where you buy souvenirs? What is it called?

It was very helpful. How was the hotel? Was it good? Was it bad? Please advise as I will be staying here next time.

How is this resort ? Is it good for family ..i am confused between grand palm oasis and sea dust ...any recommendation pls ?
@adelalic710 ай бұрын
I’ve been to grand palm and found it more of a party resort - granted this was about 6 years ago. From that and sea dust, I’d definitely recommend sea dust for a family with younger kids

I haven’t been to this one, so I can’t comment on the food, sorry! But, I did google it and the resort looks really nice! I’m going to add it to the list for our next trip. Have you been?

Looking online i see mixed reviews. Some bad reviews complained of cockroaches, cold pools, bad AC, run down rooms, and a poor beach. Was this your experience? Tough to know what reviews are legit
@adelalic73 ай бұрын
@@headsofhiphop we honestly didn’t have any of those issues thankfully. It was super clean, rooms were nice and cold. Beach was good, not dirty at all. Hopefully that helps you! I will say they do have two different categories for room options and if you don’t upgrade, you don’t have access to one restaurant. No biggie for us, But they did push it quite a bit. If you book through Expedia, you get that “enhanced” package - but I don’t know what else it entails other than the one restaurant.

@@adelalic7 thanks for the response! Check out trip advisor, a lot of bad reviews. But nice to talk to another Canadian and hear your experience. Another question would be: was the beach swimable? I read that many travelers only had "red flag" days there

We didn’t pay anything upfront. The resort charged us roughly $40 usd when we checked in. :)

If the resort doesn't charge you or you want to pay it ahead of time you can do so online or at the airport.
