We are now officially closed for the safari season and will reopen on 15th May 2025, when both Sungani and Kulandila once again welcome guests.
‼️Some scenes may be unsettling for some viewers; viewer discretion is advised.‼️
As we look back on the 2024 safari season, we celebrate a year of extraordinary and unforgettable moments:
-A new pack of wild dogs graced our area with frequent appearances.
-Several leopards in the area became more habituated, with Katatu, in particular, offering unforgettable sightings.
-Sarabi, the resilient lioness, continued to inspire with her unmatched strength and perseverance. With the Sungani pride nearby, two dominant males and more wild lions it’s looking positive for future expansion.
-Vast herds of buffalo, elephants, and giraffes thrived, reaffirming their presence as keystone inhabitants.
-We enjoyed regular sightings of more elusive species, including roan antelope, grysbok, zebra, unique birdlife, and more.
-The carmine bee-eaters, with their mesmerising spectacle, transformed even non-birding guests into avid bird enthusiasts.
This year’s incredible wildlife sightings are a testament to the tireless work of our conservation partners and the dedication of our team, whose year-round efforts ensure the preservation of this remarkable habitat.
To all our guests who visited this season and to our valued trade partners for their unwavering support and belief in us-thank you. It is a profound honour to contribute to the conservation of this exceptional corner of Africa.
We eagerly await your return in 2025!
