Alex left for the same reason & he discussed it on the first Ep1 of his podcast as well as more depth on the The Road to Success Podcast with Ben Fowler. Alex leaving also pissed off the management and that why he wasn’t back so often even though he was supposed to be working as a freelancer. Edwin covered why he left on his insta post last week. They have little budget & they can’t make videos that they want as all has to be approved before.

CT has been bought in 2023 by crash media group. On their website there are couple of job adverts for car throttle: Social Media Manager and Junior Production Assistant. Latter payin.... UP TO £22k (in London!) for pretty much doing EVERYTHING on the channel. List of duties include: Working on Car Throttle cars in between filming Towing and moving cars Ordering and collecting parts Working on behind the scenes tasks in the production process General running for shoots Scripting Booking locations, travel and accommodation Speaking to tracks, dealerships, clients, transport, mechanics Sorting Insurance, managing the Car Throttle fleet and the bay Conducting crowd control by putting up signs, directing pedestrians away from filming, lock down sets etc. Perform administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.) Undertake errands as assigned Anyone surprised why this channel is dead? My buddy just reluctantly sold his 940 that he since he was a teenager. It was nice so he got a good chunk of money for it here in Sweden. Still a very sad event though, such an absolute tractor beast of a car. It gobbles down the petrol but its so practical and no matter what happens you can easily get it rolling, especially here in its home country. There is no chance we will see anything like it again in our lifetimes.

I'm glad it was a shirt easy video. It gives me hope for my 940 which is in a similar state but less mouldy! Reading the comments about it perhaps being the end for CT videos is concerning but as long as everyone gets onto their next big thing and we get some good videos that is the main thing. Hopefully we won't get a total refresh on CT with Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc and Eddie Jordan turning up as it just won't be the same. From someone who lives in a country where a lot of people still daily these old Volvos (2,7,9&8 series) I'm not surprised that it started so easy. They're durable, comfortable to drive and cheap to maintain. I used to daily an 88 240 b200e sedan to work until I was cut off on the motorway and smashed the front corner.
