Ipoh is my favourite place in Malaysia ! How I would love to live there. They have the best food, interesting culture, lovely mountains and super coffee! Glad you tried these places. The owner of Little Katong also has a Hor fun stall in Ipoh garden called Yat Yat Seng. Owner’s name is David Tan and he is originally from Singapore, but has lived in Ipoh for 40 years, he recently opened Little Katong. There are so many more amazing main places beyond the usual spots. Happy hunting!

U guys went to Sam Ma in Ipoh Garden South. So close to my home where I grew up in. Yea, the Ipoh Aunty recommended you to a good choice for Bean Sprout/Taugeh Chicken. Good value for money.

There is also the ever so popular peanut candy/biscuit sold by the original confectionery shop called Ming Yue. But to purchase any, be prepared to start queuing even before the shop opens for business. 😅

I'm so happy you guys visited Sam Ma chicken rice! My mum's side of the family are from Ipoh and we always have chicken rice at Sam Ma instead of the typical touristy spots in the city centre. It can get pretty crowded at Sam Ma, glad you guys got to try it!

Before eating the chilli, stamp out the chilli seeds with your chopsticks first. The seeds are not good for your body. But you must gentle while stamping, or else you might get splash with soya sauce!😅😂🤣😋🇲🇾♥️
