Thanks for the great vid. Will do a test run to PI in October 2023. Was stationed at Clark in 1971-1975. I enjoy your rental vids. It gives me an idea where to stay. Thanks again!

Why not do the SRRV? You save in the long run.

Be mindful of your mini splits, if you suddenly start sneezing, it will be the issue. Also if you see a performance drop. They need constant cleaning both the inside and out. The roller fan gets dirty and the moldy smell will show up when you first turn them on. I had two if these put in my house and switched over to the new inverter window shakers. They are colder and less maintenance. Great video as always

Angeles Electric recently raised their rates and is now incredibly expensive. I am paying 25% more than I did this time last year while using less electricity. I feel bad for Filipinos who are already struggling.

Electric is expensive in PI. I liveve in Florida with an 1800 sq ft house with swimming pool. A/C is on 24/7 however I keep it at 76. Still comfortable. The pool pump runs 5 to 6 hrs a day. My last electric bill was $183.00. My last grocery bill for 2 was over $300.00 And that's not for the month. Usually 500 or more per month. I used to eat out often, but with inflation have curtailed eating out.

If you can live without air-con, just fans the power bills are much lower. It took me 6 months to acclimatize and I was fine (arrived in May - start of rainy season, so it was quite easy).

I don't think people understand Hensonville is a protected area. If you have an apartment just outside Hensonville it is cheaper but no gate to keep the squatter girls from your husband.

Wow, I wish the cost of leaving is cheap here in the USA. We make almost $9K a month and we still struggling to make ends meet. Gasoline price keeps going up so as grocery and everything else. Watching your vlog makes me think of moving to PI too. Thank you for sharing!

Nice video! I 100% agree with your budget as I live a few blocks from you.. Your electric bill is super high even with your A/C on 24/7.. I would hope nobody is tapping into your electric service and stealing it.. Maybe you can shut off your breakers and see if the meter is still moving? I love your recommendation for the mini air compressor for your scooter.. I ordered 2 yesterday... Really nice life you lead Sir...

Western style electric prices so not much of a shock. I was surprised on how much a visa costs. Comes to a bit over a dollar a day per person. I hear if you invest some money there the visa price is cheaper. I wonder if you can just park some money in an investment account at a bank and that would satisfy the requirements?

A non-Filipino cannot own land there, although he/she can inherit it when Filipina/Filipino spouse dies. Otherwise if he/she has a registered Corporation (can only own 49% or shares). However you can own an apartment/condominium leasehold.

Hey there you guys, That 2nd place sure looked like King Marcoses place, Lol After seeing your cost analysis it appeared to me that you were spot on with the rent portion as well as the other expenditures. The last video when you showed those apartments high in the sky was very expensive to me. It would be nice to know how you 2 got to the Philippines and why and what you use to do and where you grew up. It's really none of my business, but it sure would make a person think to the point that one could say "Hey I could do that" they're just like me. Maybe you already have done so and if you have ? My apologies. Thanks again for all you work. Thank you and GOD Bless.🙂
