The exact same thing happened to me and my daughter. She is 3, She slipped out of my hand, while I was flipping her while playing. She fell face down from nearly 6 feet from my shoulder. Her lower lips and chin tore up with a big cut, And this happened on Janatha Curfew day. Fortunately, I took her to an NH where there is am emergency room and the doctor must be available. They examined her gave her suture under anesthesia next day. It still gives me shiver when I remember the incident. I was literally shivering in the hospital. I still remember she staring at my face as I was so tensed and she has never seen me like that, And couldn't control my self when she said: "Papaaaa I am Fine" . I felt and still feel so guilty because she fell from my shoulder. she has got much better now. But I wish that never happened and I will never forget it my life. My sincere advice to all parents. How ever active they look and however confident you are, Never ever ever take risks with your kid. They mean the world to us .. Be Safe Be Happy.

She has a monteggia lesion not a pulled elbow . A pulled elbow child starts moving the elbow once reduction maneuver is done . Her x ray shows ulnar bending which is associated with radial head dislocation .
