this is the first video i've seen with bre in it and i just love how animated she is 😂 as someone who also struggles with control/perfectionism, motherhood was a true test of that. when it comes to post partum, what helped me a ton was something my therapist told me around how your hard times will just exist in seasons and like every season, it will end and another will begin. something that you're struggling with now will get easier. combined with lack of sleep it will be hard, but you and dre will do amazingly. accept help from your village. take time to do things by yourself and together as a couple. congrats to you both! 🥰

20:01 you guys are going to do great, simply because of these conversations you have and your ability to evolve and be intentional. I agree that it is possible to set yourself as best as you can as you enter parenthood. My husband and I did the same! There’s obvi no perfect timing because of all of the unknown variables but I def think we were intentional and built a great foundation leading up. Actively and intentionally trying for a baby with my husband (2x) was such a beautiful process. Thank you for opening the convo about how nothing is a given and many woman have fertility struggles (myself included w/miscarriage before each of my girls). Some aren’t aware of this. And Bri, keep this mindset of doing what is best for YOU and your baby. Your mental/physical/emotional health is so important so making decisions from that lens is helpful (breastfeeding/sleep/activity/etc.). You guys will transition beautifully throughout this process and I’m so excited for you both! My girls are 2 and 5 and I relate to so much of your content.

Proud of you for doing adoption, I worked in the business and most of them were just sweet normal kids needing a home. High needs or medical need children require a home to have special training. And as you said, trust in God for giving you what you need bc biological kids have behaviors as well. All kids just need love and care. God bless you all and the best to you on your journey! ♥️

Consider getting a Doula, especially one who is experienced, an advocate for health, knows the healthcare system, is family-oriented, and will always include the father in the entire journey. A Doula that will be available to you after delivery and transitioning home.

Hi I'm new to your Channel, Praying that God will bless the fruit of your womb and a high sperm count for hubby. Also I wanted to share what a wise Mother shared with me. Yes the husband carries the seed and the wife has to be in position to receive the seed, meaning the husband on top, if you are trying to conceive. I wish I would have had this valuable information early on into our marriage. Our baby making days are over. We are now happy, esthetic, proud Grandparents of four. The thing that hard is breast feeding, having to leave the child to work, feeling like you are doing all the work… up every 2 hours could be weeks on in. Being pregnant then breast feeding is like still having a baby hinged on your body for another year. Having plenty plans around trying to find a bit of time for yourself scheduled around saving milk in the freezer so you can get some services… a massage, facial, mani pedi and workout routine All have to be planned around your milky routine and milk let down…. Always producing milk the whole time. 😅 With things the way there are and have been as far as SA I would want to stay home, never have daycare, home daycare is worse… I would stay home raise my children and home school till high school or junior college. No where is safe… no school teaching gender or same sex God bless your husband to be able to provide fully for all the safety needs you will want in place for your family
