Kiva--when I had my daughter I bought all the stuff. You really don't need it!!! Babies live in diapers and onesies, unless there is an event. They don't need all the toys. They need diapers, formula, rocking chair, and most of all your love. Have fun--babies are the best. I'm glad she'll have two moms because that's the thing babies need MOST--MOMS!!! But I get it. ❤❤❤

Especially for the hospital- I didn’t need anything for baby except a couple onesies for the trip home. Baby and I were naked the entire time until it was time to leave and they give you all the diapers and wipes you need 😊

Especially as they are sick over themselves and you, and you don't want to be faffed stressing over sick on their lovely dresses!!! Good for you that you recognise you need to go back to the Church, hopefully it will be just what you need! My most important thing, a dummy!!! My youngest daughter came out screaming and screamed non stop pretty much for months!! Both my girls had dummies (in the house only never outside!)

I am so happy for you and Babe! My mom-in-law was obsessed with folding all of the onesies, t-shirts, etc into tiny little pieces. I learned early on to shake everything out and lay clothes and diapers out flat at the changing table because squirmy babies require two hands to do four-handed operations. My son is now 34 years old but I have very vivid memories of those days. Also, hope you are considering cloth diapers. Not only for the environment but it made potty training so much easier. I used a service at first but then laundered them myself. Easy-peasy.

I really hope you find the church and sense of community you are searching for. It’s so important yet so hard to do. Happy Belated Birthday Kiva. Know that you are special and try to relax a little if possible! Being a perfectionist can be stressful as this 83 year old knows who was the 1st born and had to be an example for my siblings to follow as an example. It took years of time for me to learn to relax and go with the flow and the journey of following my path. Know that you are loved and appreciated and continue to do what is best for you and your family. I so enjoy your videos as it is never too late to learn new ideas which helps me to get motivated. I agree with one viewer about clothing for babies. I was a at home mom 😃for the early years so depending on the temperature in your home a diaper and tee shirt (long or short sleeve), booties and onesies was all I needed. I remember the pediatrician getting on me for the 1st visit with my daughter. You overdressed her, she is too warm (lol). I was not raised around babies so what did I know! Enjoy the journey.
