I'm not entirely sure what that white flowering weed is, but in the SE USA have something very similar (it might actually be the same plant) and its called wild yarrow. Edit: from a quick google search it looks like white yarrow is actually native to New Zealand as well.

Why do people buy pumpkins in your area? In my area it is for halloween and fall decorating and not for eating. Do they eat them there?

We sure do 😁 Halloween isn’t huge here in New Zealand, we don’t really see pumpkins for carving here just for eating
