We've been taking some time to look back over the last few years, particularly the pre-pandemic years and subsequently our first steps back in 2022. We've chosen 3 favourites from each of our dance eras: medieval, renaissance and baroque.
Here we present our 3 baroque favourites from those earlier years. Let us know which is your favourite in the comments :)
No.3 La Bacchante - choreographed by Mr Pécour
No.2 La Bourreé d'Achille, Jean Baptiste Lully, 1632-1687
No.1 The Spanheim - choreographed by Mr Isaac, 1711
The Courtly Arts Performers of Victoria are an Australian performance group, comprising dancers formerly known as the Ripponlea Renaissance and Baroque dancers, and the Early Music Consort of Melbourne.
Our performances are based on the 40+ years of research and teaching of Mrs Helga Hill OAM in the areas of early music and dance.
