Thanks for the video! I've been doing a lot of online research and love the look of your beds. Do you guys have a website or anything where people can see a gallery of installs and available options? I have a single axle 2500 duramax but I intend on running a wider custom bed like a dually hauler bed and running wider tires. I loved the option on the ford with the tranfer/aux tank in the center. That would come in handy on the farm.

Jake, yes we do have a website www.utilitybodywerks.com/. The website is dated and is currently being majorly overhauled. That being said our youtube videos are the most up-to-date examples of our work. If your 2500 is a short bed we wouldn't have a cab-to-axle length that will work.

Thanks for the great video Cory! Will you install an on-board Viair air compressor with 2 gallons or greater tanks on the chassis cab when building the chassis cab for customers?

Great question. We have several options when it comes to compressors and air tanks. Typically, we only install them when we are doing the air ride. We use 3-gallon air tanks and the Viair compressors that come with the Kelderman air ride kits. We can do dual compressors and dual tanks on most trucks. If it is a pick-up we relocate the spare tire onto the bed floor chassis cabs have plenty of room for dual compressor and dual air tanks. Thank you for your question.

Can hot shotters use this bed? Length laws require us to remove beds from the truck so I'm wondering if I would get in trouble by using this bed in a setup longer than 65 feet

Yes, that is correct. The interior bed floor space is 98"x50"x9 3/4". The height is limited because of the center compartment behind the cab. Also 98" dimension isn't taking in consideration of the tailgate. When the tailgate is installed overall length is 97". Thank you for your question.

What length is needed for the 11ft bed for medium duty gmc 5500 cab to the end of the frame. I do know 84 cab to axle

The CA is 84" you're correct. The overall length should be roughly 133". Typically the manufacture of the chassis will call out the over hang length which is from the center of the rear axle to the end of the frame this needs to be 49". So 84" + the 49" is where we arrive at the 133" roughly. Thank you for the great question!

Agreed. RAM is really the only one doing this currently. The 4500 and 5500 RAM Limited chassis cabs look great on paper and have gorgeous interiors.

@@jupatritri1 Yeah, I am sold on BWerks product. I have had many conversations with Cory and as soon as the next Ford Super duty interior model change comes, I will decide. If Ford still does not come around with their Interior, I will give Cory a deposit this Winter with a Ram order.

Just looking for your opinions as you have done many of these trucks. I want to haul a heavier fifth wheel and I want to use GEN Y gooseneck over a disappearing gooseball. I want kelderman air ride, to smooth things out. Obviously the 84 has more storage, but the 60 is more maneuverable. What would you recommend for my application, and excluding truck price...to do an 84 inch bed, 100 plus gallon fuel tank, and kelderman air ride...what kinda ball park price are we looking...25-35k?

Matt. Thank you for your inquiry. If you did an 84" CA Dodge or Ford with Kelderman rear suspension, B&W Turnoverball, and 115 Gallon fuel tank w/ Freedom Fill system you would be looking at $31,000. This is installed painted to match the cab. The 84" is going to be more difficult to maneuver but it is going to give you more cargo cubic ft of storage and a bit better ride. For me, it would come down to the added cargo space VS the maneuverability.

I live in CA and if I order a truck at my local Ford/Dodge dealer can they send u truck, or how does the process work? Are there local dealerships that you work with? I want the most budget minded solution to get what I want. I Have not priced exact truck yet, and figured out what price will be compared to MSRP...? Always willing to find great deals as I am a thorough shopper.

Our bed would fit the length correctly and would fit your tire size but would be very wide for a single-wheel truck. The intended applications for our beds are always for a Dual rear-wheel truck. Thank you for your inquiry.

Our application chart as shown here www.utilitybodywerks.com/application-chart.html only lists SINGLE AXLE (meaning 1 axle) DUAL REAR WHEEL (meaning trucks that have 4 total rear tires) as the trucks we can put our bed on. The title says "Our beds fit any SINGLE AXLE DRW(Dual Rear Wheel) truck EXCEPT for MEGACAB short bed Dodge RAMS. The title is very accurate.
