I doubt anyone will see this but, in Royal, it was planned for Joker to summon Satanael against Maruki and not being strong enough due to lacking the wishes of the public which leads to the fusing of Raoul who'd then take out Maruki and Adam Kadmon. The devs couldn't decide how they wanted to do it so they scrapped the whole thing and made Raoul DLC. Unfortunately, this means people are going to believe Satanael is purely a cutscene persona formed by the public's wishes, at least until a fighting game comes out where he's part of Joker's kit like Izanagi-No-Okami.

I mean, you can fuse Satanael. Like, that's a thing that's entirely possible to do in a NG+. Plus, why would people assume that when the other two Persona protagonists in the past 3 games have had similar personas?

@@GlitchyPixExtra the difference people will point too is that Satanael required the full will of the public for how he summoned it. Izanagi no Okami was just Yu and his bonds

@@breloompauncher5593 I could point out that the reason behind that is purely thematic but I feel like a better argument would probably just be that Izanami only had influence over a small, rural town while Yaldabaoth had the influence of all of Tokyo. Like, Ren needing the public's help on that could be attributed to the scale of the issue. And, again, that's me putting aside the fact that the actual reason behind that is thematic, Persona 5's themes are literally about how the public will generally let the masses think for them, Joker needed to convince them to think for themselves and having that tie into the thing that makes him beat the evil god is just decent storytelling (I hope I'm not coming off like I'm being aggressive or going off at you by the way)

@@Coco-by8qs Chidori is alive though, Ultimax confirms it. The necklace Junpei is wearing was given to him by her shortly before the game and it's why he's dreaming of her during the game. The Devs confirmed it

Most likely they were being scouted by the Shadow Operatives, or they were scrambling to get to Tokyo. Remember cause it was mentioned that SEES was now either outright fulltime members or part time and they were planning to extend the offer to the Investigation Team. Maya, Katsuya, Baofu and Ulala were probably scrambling as well to make sure Tatsuya and the others didn't see what was going on cause it might trigger some memories and thus facilitate the return of Nyaralothep. The P1 cast you got me there.

Honestly the palaces have a concrete layout so unlike p3 and p4 You can make a movie out of the phantom transversing through the palaces. while also doing confidantes. something persona has never done that well.
