oh I feel this so much. I was doing phase 1 training but kept getting struck down by crippling stomach pains. ... skipping forward, discharged myself after the compulsory 30 days, went to a civvy docs and turned out I have colitis. (Also told the reason they wouldn't diagnose me was because it would have been a medical discharge and they'd have had to give me the pension... in full) Anyway... I've been mocked at some old work places for needing to go toilet and told I don't have any issue/disability etc it's just in my head. I've also lost "friends" because I have to be really carful where/what I ate. If we were going out, I'd need to know where so I could plan ahead. They stopped inviting me to nights out because "i was too much hassle". We don't need those ppl in our lives, if anyone thinks making adjustments is too much, then they're not your friend really.

Thank you for opening up about this ❤ I have ME/CFS too, since I was 17 so I know how hard it is to see people your own age out doing stuff while you're stuck in bed. I'm glad you're doing well enough to be able to do Alt Blk Era things; I love the new song and can't wait till the album is out! ❤🎉❤

Thank you for sharing & great to see you smashing it. We were hooked from your tiktok vids. Navigating hidden illness & disability is such a mine field in itself, so having a good support network & feeling empowered to ask for adjustments makes a huge difference. Let's hope more venues (& artists) start taking action to be more inclusive.
