Our Blackpool Disaster Filming Saga

We continued our Stay in Blackpool by having a look down the iconic Golden Mile Strip and checked out the comedy carpet as well as the Blackpool Tower, then disaster hit. We lost the footage. We did the best we could with what we had captured and then went home. You catch us at home planting our Hydrangeas, cutting the grass and going shopping. Hope you enjoy the video.

I visited Blackpool about. 20 years ago I hated it we stayed in a filthy hotel 5 mins walk from the tower we felt very threatened in the bars and to top it all we went on the big one which broke down half way up

We took our granddaughter to Blackpool to see the lights, we stayed a couple of nights in the travel lodge over the road from the stadium hotel you stayed it ! We were wondering what it was like so thank you. You need to trim all the brown leaves off your hydrangeas as leaving them can cause mould and mildew as they rot, give them a good feed of tomato feed once a month too, that’s what I do and I always get huge blooms, also keep them well watered until they get established . Good luck with them they are spectacular plants xx

Oooo i luves a bit of Madness ❤❤it’s certainly changed since i went their ,we arrived at 7am by coach and a cafe opened up just for us ,and then other coach people joined us 😁it was so freezing ,i had to go and buy leg warmers and ear muffs lol 😂 But the Blackpool lights were great, especially the trams as steam trains. ! Love Blackpool, been many times - can recommend the FC hotel and the dog friendly B&B, latter was great but mad! Like others say, go to Lytham area if you want something a bit up-market. Most of the old Blackpool trams are at the tram museum at Crich, which is a FANTASTIC day out.

Me and my mate used to go to Blackpool every year ,loved it,one year it was awful the hotel we stayed in was full of men and only us two ,they was knocking on our room door really scary, ,so we left and went to another hotel.Love your videos ❤

You put your plants to close to the fence it needs to be a minimum of 30 cm plus to get rain and when it grows its got room to spread

I haven't been to Blackpool for years. It was nice to see how it is now. Hydrangea's in. You could maybe give them some feed for them to settle in. Hydrangea feed or rose feed will suffice. You can feed them from spring through early summer. Gives them what they need that some soils are lacking. I love your village shops, it all looks so nice. Thank you both for another nice video.

Hydrangeas thrive in acidic soil, we have one and its blooms in Autumn winter they take off when they start growing

Yeah we survived our one and only weekend in Blackpool in 1996...and lived to tell the tale! Stayed at a very good hotel tho (one saving grace!) with our mates for their Anniversary. Highlight was all 4 of us going on the big One at midnight, all drunk, in the rain!!! Loads of people love Blackpool, but wasn't for us. Couldn't even get to see Roy Chubby Brown!! We were bought up on Margate caravan holidays, day trips and Beanos. Back in the day that was a bit like Blackpool too: rough! But if its good enough for Del Boy......! 😉 Looks lovely in the sun. Just wish they didn't still have the donkeys and horse carriages. No place for that sort of thing in 2024 IMO (poor animals😔)

Hi Martin great video as usual, thank you. Quick tip re your DJI Pocket 3. I’ve had similar thoughts with mine however DJI have just released a new firmware update and it includes a new option to lock the vertical tilt of the gimbal. I’ve updated mine and it’s brilliant, when in the new mode you still get the great stability but now have greater directional control when tilting etc. with the handle. Hope this helps perhaps give it a try. Keep up the great work (Lionel, Colchester)

I remember we had a bus company in our village did day trips to Blackpool ( i am from Yorkshire but now live in Liverpool) when we were at high school in the late 70's me and 2 friends thought it be a good idea to skive school and go on a day trip to Blackpool, had the time of our lives went pleasure beach, tussards chips for dinner, anyways on the way back our coach broke down, we were like oh no it is time i was home from school etc, Dad was like where you been, oh the lies saying i was baby sitting with my friend, Don't think they ever found out but what a memory eh 😂just an edit we were all under 16 and just took our money and let us go on the bus ohh those days .

Martin Do the new update for the pocket 3 Then go into Gimbal modes They’ve added FVL L Use that and change rotational speed to fast It now goes where you point it
