A few years ago, my brother and sister-in-law visited Estonia and popped over to Helsinki by ferry for a quick visit - they loved there, they commented on how beautiful it is. Thank you for the city tour!

I noticed no one was swimming. Is the water too cold or is it dangerous in that place? We cancel school here if it is below freezing. The smallest children get the bus as early as 5:45 and not all of them have warm coats. We don’t get really cold very often so not all parents get them if money is tight. I wish our children waited until 7 like yours. I think it’s very wise. Just like keeping movement and outside time.

The area where I was walking, near the rapids, is actually a popular place for fishing rather than swimming. 🐟There’s a nice swimming beach a bit further away that people enjoy during the warmer months. 😊
