My pup won't eat the shell, so i put it in the oven, 200 for about an hour to get them really brittle, then i put them in my Coffee grinder. Turns to powder and i throw some on his raw. Its so good for them

First and foremost, thank you for the love, support, and attention you have for this wonderful breed. I have been seeing your videos for over a year now. Had been researching this breed for about 3 years and finally got mine this week. I am in love with my baby Zoe! I wanted to start socializing her as soon as we brought her home, but the vet advised me not to even let her out in my backyard until all vaccines are done. I have never had a dog at our new house and is completely fenced in. What is your opinion on this, I am eager to show her off, lol. She is 10 weeks now. BTW, your puppies are gorgeous!!! Gonna have to get my male corso from you in a few years. Again, thank you!

Wonderful video. On the topic of diet and variation, make it interesting. The veggies are good to clean the bowels ensuring that what goes in comes out. I parboil My Pork when I give it, because of the micro parasites that might be in the 🍖, but the best veggie is the Carrot. I used it with My Rotti and Dobi for fiber and it also darken the tan markings on their legs and chests. I Believe it’s good for all Colors and because of the Carotene it enhances and promotes a deeper color. I believe I also mentioned the value of Oatmeal in the diet. It can be used to put weight on a Pup, but in moderation, it’s a good fiber too. If One is very active then it can be used, and the Pup will burn it up with playing and running. And another good use is that Fleas and ticks don’t like the taste of the blood when using it, therefore You have less problems with the blood suckers. I am a Fan and although I don’t have a CC, I have learned tips to apply to my rearing My Rhodesian ridgeback Pup. Raw diet is the most Natural for a Canine, but although costly You have to think ahead and buy Meat when on sale, or go to the Slaughterhouse. There You can get Beef lungs, tongues, hearts, and stomachs. As for dry food, it’s also important to pick a kibble with High Protein content. Thanks for the vid. As always very informative.

Kudos to you for advising to read the ingredient list on the kibble, however, “chicken meal” isn’t the greatest. It’s just what’s left over after a chicken is slaughtered. You should check out Dr. Karen Becker’s guide to feeding raw. She teaches a “complete and balanced” raw diet and is very knowledgeable. I never fed my two medium sized 16 year old dogs kibble or canned food.

Yes dogs can have allergies to chicken. We have 14 dogs and buy a LOT of food. So we must be practical when balancing the better selections with food types such as these. I underscored the fact that your best dry food can’t match the nutritional value of raw. That’s the real takeaway message here.

I should boil the sweet potato, blend the vegetables, and crush the eggshells (actually one egg per dog). Not sure about the rice (brown rice is much better) and also is it ok to mix raw with kibbles?. I thought the mixture of them complicate the digestion. Do you also feed them with chicken legs? It best to shred/blind the veggies because dog body don't really digest veggies so well. If you see a dog eating cow or rabbit poop it cause the poop is already process enough that their body can do the rest and grass helps with dogs stomach problems that would be one reason why they would even eat it. If anyone can afford to feed their dogs proper raw food I say do it.

We definitely welcome our families to meet the pups but we generally don’t have other dogs (outside our pack) interact with them at such a young age (for safety concerns)

Their digestive tracks are designed to efficiently break down and absorb the nutrients in unprocessed food. Some dogs may not eat egg shells. But its a good source of calcium and phosphorous. You can crush them and add the powder to their meals instead

Yup just like wild canines do, dogs digestive system hasn't changed really if at all from their wild counterparts, the egg shell is a good source of calcium. Look into the BARF Diet created by Dr Ian Billinghurst.

I would never give my Corso cheap pork, a marked down meat is usually half bad. White rice is not good for dogs, brown rice is the way to go. Find a local ranch where you can buy grass fed.

Marked down meat can be fine for dogs. Those are the dates for sale to humans. There is marginal difference between white and brown rice - both are starches with brown providing SOME additional nutrients. We’re on a homestead so we provide quality foods for our entire family.
